The anticipated remaster Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition is out now digitally, and we quite enjoyed it. However, if you demand a physical copy, preorders for both disc copies and its elegant Collector's Edition open in just a few short days, on 12th July.
Comprised of a double-sided poster, art book, metal pin, a hovercraft statuette, photo art prints, and a physical copy of the game, the Collector's Edition can be yours for just $124.99 (or your local equivalent) via Limited Run Games (thanks PSU). A new scene linking the now decades-old game and its perpetually in-development sequel, Beyond Good & Evil 2, made it into the remaster if you needed an additional narrative nudge to dive in.
Will you be picking up Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition? Does its Collector's Edition entice you? Let us know in the commentary section below.

Looks fin but I don't know yet. I rather have a steelcase and the Artbook and be done with it.
They really do love to flog this particular dead horse.
Pretty weak for a 20th anniv. if you ask me. There've been games with much better editions and those were no anniversaries Since they went with the lets-overprice-the-thing-via-LRG route, I'd expect at least a steelbook and/or a physical CD soundtrack (heck, vinyl even).
So Limited Run Games is the only publisher for this? Is there any normal way (standard retailers) to buy the disc version?
It’s LRG so sadly I’m not bothered about getting it.
Wish Ubisoft actually did a proper retail physical copy.
No way I'm paying $90 for the extras to a 20 year old game. $35 for the regular edition is good enough for me.
The worst LRG release was Alan Wake with a voucher for the DLC why even bother with releasing the game.
@tofuman86 Better and cheaper a Steelbook, cd with soundtrack, and artbook in a nice box would have been so much nicer.
At a buck 25 I'm gonna pass. just buy digital.
Sadly no regular retail version whatsoever. Skipping it because LRG.
