Following a roughly two-month stint in an invite-only closed beta phase, Riot Games has progressed its popular tactical FPS Valorant into a PS5 open beta. The client is available to download now on the PS Store, granting you access to the full game. Similar to Counter-Strike, this is a tense online FPS where one shot can be enough to kill, mixed with abilities.
As detailed in our Hands On impressions of the Valorant closed beta, the PC-centric title translates well to PS5. "Pulling off a last-second defuse and clutching a round are hugely satisfying moments," we said. "There isn’t another multiplayer shooter like this on PS5 — and especially not one that's this polished."
