Party Animals, a Gang Beasts-like party title from Recreate Games, looks set for its late arrival on PlayStation. A PS Store listing has been discovered for the game, pretty much confirming it's due for release on Sony's hardware in the near future.
The game initially released on PC and Xbox almost a year ago on 20th September, 2023. It seems to have been a timed console exclusive on Microsoft's machines, but that period looks set to end soon as Party Animals is clearly bound for PlayStation. It's unclear if the game will hit PS5, PS4, or both, but it's definitely coming.
As mentioned, Party Animals is a similar proposition to the popular Gang Beasts. You and up to three others play as clumsy, floppy animals in various physics-based maps and modes. The variety here looks a little bigger, with power-ups to collect and a handful of different match types to enjoy aside from basic brawls.
The game was planned for all consoles years ago, so it seems it'll soon finally make it out to everything. Are you interested in playing Party Animals on PlayStation? Tell us in the comments section below.

I'm looking forward to this. Gang Beasts was some great fun with friends in couch co-op. I was always bummed that this didn't release on PS.
Only for hardcorgi gamers.
Looking forward to this. This was low key one of the few games I was actually jealous that it was exclusive.
@WhiteRabbit of course those are "slimy" practices, they don't do that LOL
Finally developers can hope to sell some copies on console
@WhiteRabbit Microsoft favours timed exclusivity more while Sony favours paying for permanent exclusivity
I played it on Steam back on release. It's a fun time and definitely more polished then Gang Beasts.
That tagline threw me off. I started reading the articles as if it was written in French. It didn't make any sense.
@Toot1st a bit like the Ori games you mean? 🤔
@WhiteRabbit by that logic Party Animals also isn't Xbox exclusive, since it was released day one on PC
Does it have local co-op yet? Because I think the PC release didn't. It's ridiculous but true. Please someone let me know it has or will have local co-op...
@zhoont On the Xbox I just set the match up as private and set up the other players as guests. Thats how me and the kids play locally and its all good.
@colonelkilgore Ori is owned by Microsoft and they published it.
@WhiteRabbit console exclusivity
@Toot1st just like Helldivers is with Sony
Looking forward to this on PS5. Would be nice if it had Ray Tracing included too! The NVIDIA DLSS YouTube clips look clean 👍
