A now removed product listing for the official Dragon Age: The Veilguard art book has given weight to recent rumours. Indeed, there have been whispers that the RPG is aiming for an October launch, and this art book — which was spotted by Reddit users — was set for the 30th October. Again, the listing has since been taken down, suggesting that the information may have been accurate.
However, additional merchandise doesn't necessarily release alongside the game that it's based on. What's more, the 30th October is a Wednesday — which typically isn't a day that's chosen for new titles. It's assumed, then, that The Veilguard's actual release date is at some point before the official art book drops.
Honestly, though, this supposed leak doesn't matter much anyway. BioWare's already confirmed that the game will be locking a date down this month, and that we'll be getting more gameplay to gawk at. Hopefully all is revealed sooner rather than later, so we can finally prepare our schedule for a new Dragon Age. It's been quite some time.
