In a new type of developer confirmation that information is right around the corner, BioWare has announced the release window of the Dragon Age: The Veilguard release date reveal. We'll discover the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC release date next month along with a "new roadmap" and "more looks at the game". The funny but overall welcome titbit was shared in a new BioWare blog rounding up the developer's presence at Comic-Con this past weekend.
The article concludes: "We’ll have more to share next month — including a new roadmap, more looks at the game, and our official release date (!) — so don’t forget to follow our BioWare and Dragon Age social channels." The new BioWare RPG is still slated to release later this year, and now we know at some point in August we'll have the exact release date. The game has been shaping up nicely in pre-release footage, with its script size showcasing its apparent ambitions — it's apparently doubled the number of voice lines Dragon Age: Inquisition had at 140,000 across 700 characters.
Interestingly, the game won't be part of Gamescom. The release date may simply be shared in another BioWare blog post as a result. When do you expect Dragon Age: The Veilguard to release? Make a prediction in the comments below.

Announcement of an announcement of an announcement? Jokes aside, I’m really intrigued by this game. Will give it a shot when I make room in my backlog.
I was taken completely off guard. Should have announced the announcement that there’ll be an announcement.
Title is so convulted like what did I just read
@CWill97 That's the point!
Reminds me of FFXV. Game announced a decade ago, only to have a gigantic announcement presentation for their release date, which was inevitably delayed again.
Roadmap?! Uuggghh. Will they treat this like Ubi treats AC with all the dlc and microtransactions etc?!
This. Damn. Game. Damn.
Ah yes, Bioware. Known to stick to their road maps. 😆
Just port origins and 2 forward. Dont care too much about this new one
It will probably be released for the holiday season, going up against AC Shadows, and I know it's not rated a AAA but isn't Greedfall 2 out toward the end of this year?
I hate this, just announce when you’re ready. Also roadmaps? Curious to see if they go the Owlcat route and show their plan for future story DLCs and dungeons over the next two years. I’d trust Owlcat more though right now.
I have a feeling this is the end for BioWare
@KillerBoy
Bioware is long gone. Don't imagine too many of the old guard stuck around for the post-Anthem era of Bioware.
