Getting lost in the minutiae of empire-building while Sean Bean drops some of the hardest, most hilarious lines from history was a highlight of Civ VI, and the Game of Thrones fun continues in Civilization VII, with Brienne of Tarth herself, Gwendoline Christe announced as narrator.

Voice acting was introduced with Civilization IV, and legendary Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy set a high bar. Stage actor and fellow Star Trek alum William Morgan Shepard was cast for Civ V, and Bean, as mentioned, for Civ VI.
