Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is just under three weeks from launch, available on 9th September on PS5, and it's safe to say we are feeling the hype. With glowing preview coverage, it could be another surprise multiplayer hit ala Helldivers 2, in addition to the embodiment of our wildest childhood imagination in its cooperative narrative campaign. We got a short trailer at Gamescom's Opening Night Live to tide us over in the meantime.

In recent times, we've been eating quite well in terms of Space Marine trailers, getting a look at the Tactical and Sniper character classes and a rather meaty bit of multiplayer. If you need us, we'll be feverishly studying the Codex Astartes for any and all gameplay advantages, as is traditional for Ultramarines.

Are you ready for Space Marine 2? Add to that an episode in Amazon's gaming anthology series, Secret Level, and suddenly, the future of the 40K universe is starting to look a lot less grimdark.
