Last week, we brought you word of an unfortunate publishing mishap in which the PS5 physical edition of Outer Wilds: Archaeologist Edition shipped with the wrong version of the game on the disc. Well, it seems Annapurna Interactive is doing the right thing and will be reprinting the game after all.
Initially promising DLC voucher codes to add in the missing Echoes of the Eye expansion, players weren't really having that (thanks, Eurogamer). So starting next week, players can place "a new order for a corrected physical copy of Outer Wilds: Archaeologist Edition directly from a partnering online storefront". That said, if you don't mind, you can still get a digital voucher rather than dealing with a retailer. Finally, Annapurna estimates that production of the corrected version will take around eight weeks, so hang tight.
Are you glad that the Outer Wilds: Archeologist Edition will be corrected? How will you occupy yourself in the meantime? Pass the time with other weary travellers in the comments section below.

So, can you still order it from Amazon and get the full game, or do you have to order directly from iam8bit and pay shipping to get the updated version.
"Online Retailer" eh, can't be bothered... Returned it already on Friday (to put the money towards Astro Bot and the Controllers) and I won't be ordering a "Corrected Copy" if I can't just grab it from my local retailer 🤷♂️ 👎 (already owned it and the DLC for years Digitally... Still haven't played it though haha)
All I want is physical retail releases, like it there always were. I won't ever buy a fugging digital game for the price of a regular disc version. At worst even more!!!
The balls for saying yeah we will give you a download code. Recall it you sold a lie a faulty product.
