Square Enix's Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake might be a bit of a mouthful, but it just looks better and better each time we see it. A brand new trailer has been released, providing an overview of how the game plays as we approach its 14th November launch date.

The PS5 title looks beautiful, combining old with new to achieve that eye-catching "HD-2D" look. Chronologically speaking, DQ3 is the first game in the Erdrick trilogy, so this will be a good point for newcomers to jump into the series — especially with remakes of 1 and 2 coming next year.

If you're unfamiliar, Dragon Quest is a classic fantasy RPG series in which you travel the world, explore towns, and fight monsters in turn-based battles — all with character designs and artwork from the late Akira Toriyama. The above trailer covers the basics, including a vocation/class system for your party members. This remake includes a new monster wrangler class that, as the name suggests, makes use of abilities from the monsters you encounter.

We can't wait to get stuck into this later in the year. How are you feeling about Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake? Journey into the comments section below.
