Sony’s latest State of Play was a huge hit, with an incredible 77% of you rating it okay or better in our poll. The trailer views are also through the roof, guaranteeing enormous exposure for almost all of the over 20 titles on display.
Of course, in the aftermath of these livestreams, it’s always interesting to evaluate which games resonated with fans the most.
In this wholly unscientific experiment, we’ve listed all of the trailers and ordered them based on total views. Please note, this data is accurate at the time of publication, and only takes into account uploads to the official PlayStation YouTube channel; mirrors may alter the results, but aren’t included here.
Without further ado, then:
- Ghost of Yotei: 3.3 million
- Stellar Blade: 443k
- Monster Hunter Wilds: 375k
- Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered: 359k
- Hell is Us: 250k
- Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered: 245k
- PS5 Pro: 194k
- ArcheAge Chronicles: 190k
- PS5 Chroma Collection: 157k
- Astro Bot: 143k
- Lunar Remastered: 134k
- Alan Wake 2 The Lakehouse: 122k
- Palworld: 121k
- Dynasty Warriors Origins: 98k
- The Midnight Walk: 86k
- Towers of Aghasba: 76k

- Hitman PSVR2: 70k
- Fantasian Neo Dimension: 65k
- Fortnite DualSense: 62k
- Fear the Spotlight: 47k
- TMNT Shredder’s Revenge: 45k
All in all, it was a wildly successful broadcast from Sony, with 2.1 million tuning in for the livestream as well. These are some of the highest numbers we’ve seen for a State of Play in a little time, so it’s the kind of standard the Japanese giant needs to be targeting with these consistently.

First State of Play I watched love and it was beautiful!
Imo the midnight walk deserves more views. Honestly one of my favorites from the stream.
Ghost Of Yotei obviously looks incredible but for me the highlight was Soul Reaver I'm a long starving Legacy Of Kain fan and this re-release is a dream come true. I wish we got Defiance and Blood Omen 2 as well but hey maybe another time if this does well 🤞
Ghost of Yotei, easy. I was falling asleep till they dropped that trailer.
Dragon age the veilguard did it for me.that mage vs dragon gameplay looks incredible.word up son
Stellar Blade DLC in second place warms my heart.
From this State of Play I'm buying or more interested in Ghost of Yotei, Stellar Blade DLC, MH Wilds, AW2 Lakehouse, DA Veilguard and LEGO Horizon. In other words, for me this State of Play had a pretty strong showing.
@playstation1995 Yeah. That looked incredible. Day one if the reviews are good!
Am content! A nice start with Astro, a banger finish with Ghost, and a few announcements in between that piqued my interest such as Hell Is Us, Lunar, Kain, and Hitman VR.
Solid show, I’m happy with what was shown.
Shocked Palworld wasn't higher, considering it's a hot topic of conversation again.
It was definitely better than what I was expecting, it was good 👍 (average without Ghost)
Ghost of Yotei was always going to be the big winner, but interesting to see Stellar Blade above Monster Hunter Wilds. And I'm glad people still have a lot of fondness for Soul Reaver.
Thought it was good until the Ghost of Yotei reveal which changed it for me to great!!! A lot of whiners concerning the HZD remaster but I would. Have gladly paid full price but now it’s a steal at $9.99. And I’m hoping the Days Gone PS5 rumor is true!!!
Ghost of Yotei was easily the highlight for me. I was also excited to see the Astro Bot DLC, obviously. Hell is Us, The Midnight Walk, and the Legacy of Kain remasters are also things I have my eye on.
Does 77% rating it as OK (and above) qualify a huge hit? It was mediocre at best, guess I'm part of the 77%
Oh man!. Did you see how beautiful would 2B look. I can't wait for it. Stellar blade and Nier Automata are two of my favorites games ever.
Ghost sequel is a most, too. Little disappointed that nothing was shown from Wolvering. When would be its release date?
That Fortnite controller needs putting in the bin.
Ghost 2 destroyed everything! Good to see Stellar Blade getting love. We need more of it, and a sequel
I just wish they gave us an update on Sword of the Sea. Other than that, solid show.
Now thinking about I'm kind of surprised they didn't show until dawn one more time since the release is coming up.
Humongous huh?
Lmfao almost all of the other state of plays had more views and that is verifiable fact. I love how these sites are all trying their hardest to change platform player sentiment and the narrative on the overpriced Pro into the positive via wave after wave of embellishment, out of context anecdotes and just straight misinformation.
One of the most common identifiers of someone trying to mislead you is when they use elevated descriptor words for something that's actually not that abnormal.
Pretty shameful. We aren't all that gullible.

@Zemo55 onna-musha isn't woke but I've no doubt you don't read history books and want to live in your fantasy.
"Humongous State of Play" 😆😆😂😂
@KundaliniRising333 lol quit crying because Sony is getting positive press. If you want to live in negativity there’s plenty of places on the net you can find it but don’t bring up ridiculous conspiracy theories here it’s pathetic.
@Ken_Kaniff well considering most polls I’ve seen across the net have the majority giving it a B or higher I would think that description is more than fine enough to use. Don’t worry im sure soon enough you’ll get your negativity to wallow in and be happy
@Zemo55 take your chud s**t somewhere else this site isn’t about that
@KundaliniRising333 Indeed, Sony really have their fanbase on their hands.. after so many atrocities they have been doing this gen, it's enough to show only one 1st party game in a long time with a vague release date, and many are already at it - praising and boot licking Sony! I was happy with the announcement but Sony has to deliver much more this gen..
@BIG3. Dragon age the veilguard reviews are gonna be good.bioware is gonna be a return to glory for them.word up son
I hope they don’t ***** up Hitman….again.
4th time lucky?
Looking forward to Metro VR & trying not get my hopes up only to get crushed again for Hitman VR.
134K for Lunar and 245K for Soul Reaver are nice to see. Just show a lot of PS fans are still remember these niche franchise despite they're dead for decades. But also possible there people who never played Lunar and Soul Reaver but interested to try it.
Ghost of yotei made this an ok showcase. Everything else was things I'd either seen before or had little interest in. Still against the horizon remaster by the change in tone towards it doesn't surprise me. Everyone already has it an £10 is no different than buying a mtx in a live service game. It doesn't even register to many gamers. Just free trophies and probably a couple hours dip into a game they've already played to say 'this is nice' then never touch it again
For me, Ghost was the clear winner. Outside that, Astro Bot and Alan Wake DLC will be nice to have, and Dino Crisis, Lunar, and the Blood Omen titles are good to see, so I guess old games are a winner too.
The losers to me, though, is the live service initiative. Not even a whimper on Concord or any of those titles is sort of strange. I wonder if Sony is going to silently abandon those games. The 2025 lineup is another loser. Ghost is good (and so is DS2, which is probably on hold for its own showcase Sunday), but it’s looking like we’ll have another year of sparseness and secrecy with the lineup, padded with old games being peddled to keep dedicated gamers engaged.
I dunno. Call me old fashioned, but having awareness of the release slate months in advance was nice.
Man people better not sleep on dynasty warriors origins and fantasian
