With the October 2024 lineup now made available to PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium users, the cycle has repeated itself to where we also know what's leaving Sony's subscription service next month. A pretty significant list of 18 games will depart on 18th November 2024, and it includes some of the biggest and best titles included in the membership. The full list is as follows:
- GTA: San Andreas - Definitive Edition (PS5, PS4)
- Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4)
- The Sims 4 City Living (PS4)
- Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen (PS4)
- Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme VS. Maxiboost ON (PS4)
- Superliminal (PS5, PS4)
- Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising (PS5, PS4)
- Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series (PS5, PS4)
- Teardown (PS5)
- Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix (PS4)
- Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (PS4)
- Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4)
- Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory (PS4)
- Chorus (PS5, PS4)
- What Remains of Edith Finch (PS5, PS4)
- Overcooked 2 (PS4)
- Blasphemous (PS4)
- Moving Out (PS4)
That's the entire Kingdom Hearts series gone from PS Plus, along with major Rockstar titles GTA: San Andreas - Definitive Edition and Red Dead Redemption 2. Elite-tier indie experiences like What Remains of Edith Finch are also on the way out along with other attractions such as the remastered Klonoa series and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. All will leave the service on 18th November 2024, when the new games drop.
Of course, a lot of these titles are significant investments if you want to finish them in the space of a month, so if there's anything on this list that's part of your PS Plus backlog, you'll definitely want to prioritise them for the next few weeks. Which games are you disappointed to lose access to most? Let us know in the comments below.

The amount of quality leaving over the last few month is really worrying.
Didn't they just add RDR2 again?
There is some good titles in there. I might just buy that gta trilogy as it is fun to hop on every now and again.
@Voltan Disappeared from PS Plus in Sept 2022, not been back long and there it goes again!
I'm dropping to Essential from Extra in December. Might as well just buy any of the limited titles available to Extra with the money saved, probably on disc as well, just to be sure.
Honestly the quality exchange we’re getting is terrible. We’re losing far better games than we’re getting, I’m not sure how they can justify the price hike.
May your heart be your guiding key…except on PS Plus.
@Voltan If memory serves, Rockstar games only ever seem to stay on Gamepass or PS Plus for around 3-6 months at a time, and tend to rotate between the two services. So I wouldn't be surprised to see RDR2 back on Gamepass again in the next couple of months
Chorus is a shame, it’s probably the best space combat game I’ve ever played.
Superliminal in a great puzzle game too!
Classic early whistle post 90 mins mentality for this every month.
Have months/years to play the games but complain once announced it’s leaving.
If these ended up on PS Plus for free next month people would cry its a poor selection 😂
@Voltan Rockstar games are typically only ever added to these services for a few months. From the massive Xbox leak we saw that this is because TakeTwo want an ongoing monthly fee rather than a flat fee to be on these services, and most people who play it will do so early on. Hence it doesn't make good business sense for Sony/Xbox to be spending as much in month 3-6+ as it does month 1 & 2.
@themightyant It is 75% likely at this point that GTA6 Online will be a subscription service with F2P monetisation. They'll only need a couple of whales to make back the cost of the few people that leave.
@Jacko11 And these are some bloody old games too. I find it hard to believe that most people who were likely to play Kingdom Hearts or Red Dead haven't already played them.
I think it's time to consider cancelling for me. We lose big games and gain small titles. It's not paying its way at all.
The gamepass model proved itself to be a failure so far, and so it appears Sony no longer feels pressured to go toe to toe with them.
The cost of PS Plus is expensive for what you get. I won't be renewing.
Only Chorus from there for me. I got caught out with Gotham Knights leaving, and I'm really close to finishing it. Which is annoying. 😕
Wonder if kingdom hearts will be moving over to GP.
With SE new strategy and all
@themightyant @PapaGlitch thanks, that's interesting
I think I'll play Superluminal
I was also thinking about checking out Kingdom Hearts but I'm not sure I feel like playing it rn (with a deadline too)
It’s not like the stuff you get in return is any good either. A shame.
I always feel a little sad about these lists and it never really balances against the lists of games coming to the service.
Definitely some fomo psychology there somewhere
Just another reason for me to drop to Essential when my current plan expires.
Not because I'm particularly bothered about any of these games leaving...... More so that these articles just remind me that I never play any of the games on offer anyway.... or very rarely
@suprnova23 your joking they have never gone to to toe.
look at some of the games coming to Gamepass before Christmas..
COD Black Ops 6
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Stalker 2
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
Genshin Impact
Mech Warrior clans
Nine Sols
All but one of those games are on there on day of release.
Oh no just like every streaming service out there they removed things they be bk in few months some of are just so dramatic
I let my ps plus to completely expire a couple of months ago. Decided it's not worth the money for me. I have decided to buy the odd game I want to play instead of trying to play a lot of games for the sake of playing them just because they are there.
@Rog-X genshin been on ps for how many years Xbox finally getting it and those other games are all own by Xbox but three
I feel like I'm echoing many people here. I to am going to drop to essential in January. I've given it since launch to change my mind. I just haven't been using it. For with not having time to play the few I'm interested in has made it's value proposition pointless to me. I'm not saying there aren't good games to play. But I seem to have played or owned the ones I'd be interested in. Not played one since Guardians of the galaxy. Would have been cheaper just to buy it outright. Still. Seems a good deal if I was a student or had a low stress job or no wife and family spend time with.
If they've been downloaded, we can keep them? Or does that make them unplayable unless we buy them. My son loves Teardown
@Slayer25c That's just poor damage control, Dosen't matter who owns them it's who's getting them is all that matters, I have both subscriptions but if I want to play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and COD Black Ops 6 on PlayStation I will have to pay $183 on top of the subscription.
