Indiana Jones PS5 Dev Going Very Well, No Comment on PS5 Pro Just Yet 1

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will launch later this year on Xbox and PC, but it’s coming to PS5 early next year. And as part of a round of previews released earlier today, creative director Jens Andersson has commented on the progress of the PlayStation port.

“We are obviously working on it,” he told IGN. “It’s coming out next spring, right? It's going well. Again, it’s by its core, a multi-platform engine, so there are no huge restructuring or anything like that needed. So it's going well.”

Andersson was asked about whether the studio will support the PS5 Pro, and admitted his company hasn’t “said anything” about Sony’s supercharged system yet. But we already know other Microsoft studios, like Blizzard with Diablo 4, will support the $700 hardware, so it seems reasonable to expect Indiana Jones will take advantage of it, too.

Obviously there’s not a lot of meat on these answers, with Bethesda understandably wanting to focus on the release of the Xbox and PC versions. But with the PS5 port not too far behind, we should start learning a lot more about what developer MachineGames is doing with Sony’s hardware early next year.
