The oft-delayed Phasmophobia, a multiplayer ghost-hunting hit on PC by developer Kinetic Games, finally has a release date, and it's really rather soon. Prepare to run screaming for your life when this one arrives, at long last, on 29th October on PS5.

In a refreshingly diegetic reveal, Phasmophobia's release date is actually depicted in-engine in the above trailer, which we don't know we've seen before. That aside, if you've been anticipating this particular traumatic ordeal, you can gather together a group of friends and go hunting for shoots. Players must deduce what kind of spirit is currently haunting the game, using all kinds of analogue instruments to do so. It looks great, can be played by up to four players, and has enjoyed rave reviews throughout its Early Access period on PC.
