It's a good day to be a fan of Assassin's Creed Syndicate. The London-based excursion, which released all the way back in 2015 for the PS4, is finally getting a PS5 update. Out now and weighing in at around 750MB, the patch doubles the title's frame rate when played on PS5 and PS5 Pro via backwards compatibility. That's a jump from 30 to 60 frames-per-second, just to be clear.
Proper PS5 support has been a hot topic amongst diehard Syndicate fans for a long time, so it's nice that Ubisoft has eventually delivered. You may recall that the publisher updated Assassin's Creed Odyssey for PS5 several years ago, and did the same with Assassin's Creed Origins a little later, in 2022.
