Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter Part of PS Plus Premium Lineup for December

I can die happy now!!!! Also that's 4 more platinum trophies to add to my collection, and with that I'll have 10 Sly Cooper platinums in my list!

If you already own the PS2onPS4 version of Jak, I wonder if they'll give you the new emulation version for free.

Yes! So this pretty much confirms an anniversary classics blowout. We usually only get 2 or 3 a month, so with these 3 just being an early preview, more will probably be announced on the usual third Wednesday of the month! 😍

I'm luvin all these Back Compat titles being pulled up. Keep going!! In a week we are gonna have 4 out of 5 of the Legacy of Kain series! On modern hardware! Dino Crisis and RE: Directors Cut! Next year aims to be slow for new titles but it can easily be Sony reclaiming the Back Compat kings with a little work.

@Broosh For real I think I'd actually cry 😅. Wrath Of Heaven is my favourite and the one I want the most ^__^. Also the PSP entry Time Of The Assassin's was overlooked I really enjoyed that one

Now hopefully we can get the OG Ratchet games emulated in 2025. Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank alone won't do.

Awesome! If we are getting a classics blowout to celebrate the 30th, I hope Ape Escape 2 (that'll actually work on Ps5 this time) and Ape Escape 3 are among them. I'd take the OG Spyro trilogy on Ps1 too, but I'm not sure how the rights for that would work now.

It's nice to see Sly Trilogy are playable for PS4/5.

I just hope Sony add Wild Arms 4, 5, XF, and Alter Code F so i can get the whole WA series on PS4/5.

Also, would be cool if Sony add niche games like Koudelka, Shadow Heart, Galerians, Alundra, or Legend of Legaia for PS4/5. These games deserves more spotlight but the physical copy are pretty expensives.

What’s this about a new emulator? I wonder how the Sky games will look compared to the HD collection and it’s new aspect ratio.

Hopefully this marks a new initiative for Sony. Kind of like how Sega is working on new entries for its classics, I'd love to see PlayStation do the same with all their dormant franchises. Astro Bot's critical and commercial success should be a wake up call that we want more than just gritty realistic action games.

I just played all the Jak games except Jak X earlier this year, but I'm so ready to jump back in. And I'm excited to finally try the Sly Trilogy. I hope this comes with a new trophy list as well, just as an added bonus

@PuppetMaster I just started Wild Arms 1 this evening on this nostalgic surge. I'm hoping Sony doesn't stop. The Parasite Eve trilogy, Legacy of Kain Defiance, Ico, any of the many Disney platformers, Vagrant Story, FF Tactics, RE 2 & 3. My list is a mile long honestly.

I mean this is cool for you non-ps3 people, but….i noticed all these ps2 classics have been just the same ones we got in the remastered ps3 era with ratchet/clank, Jax/daxter, sly trilogy, what’s next the god of war ps2 classics with the psp ones 🤷‍♂️ just seems like they are releasing the ps3 games in singles and tricking you all. It’s still cool I don’t have to play em on ps3 and they have trophies but man….give us some “rare” ones like tron bone ps1 (yes yes I have it on ps3) or keep the obscure ones coming like ghost hunter

Sly 2 is my favorite of the trilogy (Thieves in Time doesn't exist in my mind), so won't mind doing it again!
