PS5 exclusive Stellar Blade was one of the standout releases of the year, with developer Shift Up commanding the attention of gamers with lightning-fast combat and scantily-clad heroine Eve. The game was considered a success, selling more than a million copies, and Shift Up expects to sell even more on PC. You can expect to see the much-anticipated port sometime in 2025.
The confirmation comes after an eager investor, during a recent earnings call, queried when a PC release of the game could be expected (thanks, Kotaku). Shift Up said players could expect it on PC sometime in 2025, but would not be held to a more specific release timeframe. We can't even fathom the debauchery that will go on once modders get their grasping hands on the game, and imagine sites like Nexus Mods' will do a roaring trade in subscriptions alone, provided they have the server capacity to remain online in the face of rabid Eve stans.
Have you been holding out for Stellar Blade on PC? Or, if you played on PS5, will you be double-dipping? Crank your graphical settings up to Ultra in the comments section below.

Lol, that subheading is golden.
I didn't end up playing much on PS as it kind of lost my interest as a souls like bargain basement Nier automata and then I switched to PC, but once this starts hitting good steam sales and now has an actual automata dlc coming I'll bite on PC.
Though I'm still painfully stuck on wukong and theres only so much of this type of battle system one can take.
"and Shift Up expects to sell even more on PC"
This will only happen if it doesn't require a PSN log-in to play.
I may double dip after it goes on a super deep discount since I still have the PS5 version.
Expected, but nice to have it confirmed. Really hoping this runs okay on Steam Deck.
@GamingFan4Lyf Is Sony even publishing the game on PC?
@Ralizah No idea.
@GamingFan4Lyf
Great point. Another example why Shift Up never should've have jumped into bed with Sony. If it meant the game wouldn't have been published, well so be it.
@Gamer83 "Another example why Shift Up never should've have jumped into bed with Sony. If it meant the game wouldn't have been published, well so be it"
I'm glad you're not Shift Up CEO
I will double-dip after a deep discount.
By then, Steam Deck 2 will probably be out, and that's what I'll play it on.
I will get the game if it runs adequately in the Steam Deck, I skipped the PS5 version. 80€ were too much, the PC version will be cheaper.
And they expect sales on PC to eclipse sales on console. Exciting stuff, clearly they know what they've got here for modders and that audience.
I’m still waiting to get this on PS5. I’m just waiting for a decent price…
Have seen all over Twitter people saying "Sony L"...... like how is this an L? Pretty sure the PC port was always on the cards.
Great news for PC gamers, a little worried Shiftup want to open up an LA studio tho
@PuppetMaster
Would've been fine, that company makes more than enough money from mobile games and it's not like there aren't other games with a similar combat system.
@Gamer83 Sure they would be fine financially. But without Stellar Blade, they wouldn't earn a good chunk of additional revenue or grab more shareholders that made their company as one of the biggest gaming company in South Korea.

Again. I'm really glad you're not Shift Up CEO or Stellar Blade wouldn't exist.
The mods are going to be um...quite interesting for this game I expect. 😅
Good for the PC crowd though. It's a great game.
That subheading made me
Well done PushSquare.
Definitely double dipping on this one.
@PuppetMaster Love how commenters think they know more then the CEO of a successful Pub/Dev. Would Stellar Blade have happened without Sony? Maybe but it wouldn't be the Stellar Blade we got.

@Major_Player Could be worse I guess.. could have an Xbox
@DennisReynolds Yeah. I'm baffled with his statement as if Sony is a company who should be avoid at all cost for 3rd party studios.
@Mikey856 : Make no mistake this will also be on Xbox you just don't know it.
Wonder if there'll be an impending lawsuit from the model or her agency looking at the depravity of some pc mods 😂
Brings the whole yagami and his agency thing to mind regarding a judgment pc port, granted he's an idol or sth but feel like this will be seen as more intrusive.
I thought thos was gonna be titled spread cheeks instead of wings
@Major_Player well let’s be honest microsoft are clearly unable to provide games for their players so it’s got to fall to someone to provide right
Definitely going to play through the game again on PC, the game is a ton of fun.
Also I feel the game should run pretty good on the Steam Deck.
How many copies has it sold by this point?
All the PC weirdos will be well behaved with the game I'm sure...
@Shad361 Last confirmed numbers state it sold over 1 mil.
@AfroMario Honestly that’s what is making me interested in this game. And I say that as a girl myself.
I have not purchased this game yet. It’s on the radar, but other games are higher up on the backlog. PS5 Pro will be my way to play it.
the mods for this game bout to go crazy!
Found it to be utterly meh. Combat was decent but pales in comparison to Sekiro and Metal Gear Rising. The less said about the sheer thirst surrounding the game the better.
@AfroMario That's creepy as hell.
