Update []: It's official: Bleach: Rebirth of Souls will release for PS5 and PS4 on the 21st March. The fighter's new trailer spills the beans alongside some stylish looking gameplay and cutscene footage.
As the headline of this article suggests, we're just glad that Bleach isn't launching within the maelstrom that is February 2025.
The schedule really is packed around then, with the likes of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, Trails through Daybreak 2, and Monster Hunter Wilds all landing in the space of about two weeks.

Original Story: Bandai Namco has scheduled a mysterious 'Announcement Trailer' for Bleach: Rebirth of Souls, which is airing on the 4th December.
It seems likely that we're getting a release date; the anticipated anime fighter has been locked in for 'early 2025' since September, so the timing certainly adds up.
The game's been getting a bunch of character reveal trailers over the last few months, with the currently-known roster sitting at 18 playable heroes and villains. We're assuming the character reveals will continue after this special announcement — especially since some additional hype will be needed in the lead up to launch.
There was quite a lot of scepticism surrounding Rebirth of Souls upon its reveal as a one-on-one brawler — but gameplay videos and breakdowns have helped ease those concerns. Based on what we know, this is looking like a real cut above Bandai Namco's typical arena fighter.

Please don't put it in the already full February. That month was already quite stuffed this year.
Hoping for March I think that will be a good slot
I am still salty for this game cause i wanted this dev to have made Captain Tsubasa 2 instead. :/
I like Bleach though. But i don't think this game looks very good. They need to release it during the current anime season that is airing though.
I'm hoping this game comes out good because it looks promising despite it being an arena fighter.
March sounds solid to me. And I think I will definitely be well done with Sparking Zero by then so that works.
I’m still sad that this won’t include the 1000 Year Blood War arc but I hope it will at least include everything up through the end of Aizen. I think the description was “Arrancar arc” which I assume is a just an obtuse way to describe most of the Hueco Mundo stuff since we already know Ulquiorra 2nd Form is confirmed and that is well past the official Arrancar arc.
@Nepp67 I don't actually think it is an arena fighter the more gameplay we see it's looking more like a Heat Of The Soul type thing there's no free movement or running around an open map
@Keyblade-Dan Yeah it's definitely looking more and more like a 2D fighting game which I'm pretty hyped for. One youtuber points it out and it is pretty noticeable.
March 21st
And this looks surprisingly good for an "anime arena fighter". The newest trailer looked super clean.
Holy f— it looks even more better than when revealed
Wow it's $40 for the base version? Man that ultimate edition is starting to sound more worth it then. Hope the game ends up good along with its story mode.
The game looks amazing
