Kanye West Is Playing The Last of Us 2 on Survivor Mode, Says It's the Best Game Ever Made 1

Kanye West may be a lot of things, but at least he has damn good video game taste. The Gold Digger singer posted a picture of his The Last of Us 2 progress on Instagram, confirming he’s playing the Naughty Dog sequel on its most difficult Survivor + setting. He’s probably going to need to get Stronger to reach the end, eh?

“By far the best game made so far,” he captioned. “This is not a sponsored post.”

West joins a slew of other celebrities who’ve Touched the Sky and declared their appreciation for the survival horror game, including Zendaya and The Weeknd.

A second season of HBO Max’s television adaptation of the game is due out in Spring 2025, with series creator Naughty Dog turning its attention to a new title, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

While we don’t think The Last of Us 2 is the best game ever made like Ye, it’s certainly up there. We’re glad to see Kanye appreciating more than its story, too: this series often gets unfairly labelled as an interactive movie due to its story telling chops, but its encounter design and core moment-to-moment action is impeccable.
