The GTA community has become somewhat infamous as of late thanks to the absurd conspiracy theories it's attaching to the eventual release of GTA 6 Trailer 2. Fans are predicting Trailer 2 release dates based on seemingly unrelated GTA Online updates, and the latest theory is so ridiculous that it's prompted Red Dead Redemption 2 voice actor Roger Clark to speak out.
For those who aren't up to speed, Rockstar Games tweeted out a week ago a new set of bonuses for its GTA+ service. It included a free muscle car and extra incentives to complete certain missions, but GTA 6 fans weren't interested. They instead took a magnifying glass to the attached image and noticed a series of random numbers on one of the shipping containers next to the Vapid Dominator GT muscle car.
If you add all the numbers up, you get 30. With the number two at the bottom in a larger font, GTA 6 fans believe the total number is hinting at GTA 6 Trailer 2, and thus the theory that the second trailer is releasing in one week on 30th January 2025 has been born. The fact that Take-Two's next financials call isn't far away is evidence too, apparently.
We'd like to think the people making these conspiracy theories and those responding to them are at least somewhat joking, but so many of these suggestions have come and gone without anything happening that Roger Clark, the voice actor of Arthur Morgan, has called for it to end.
He said on Twitter: "Please stop guessing when GTAVI trailer 2 is dropping. Please. You haven’t the first f***ing clue and it’s beyond obvious now." The cherry on top is that a fan responded to Clark joking (we hope) that his tweet was a tease also for a GTA 6 Trailer 2 release date.

Someone needs to sit Roger Clark down in a locked room with Jez Corden. Corden doesn't get to leave until Clark has drummed into him that he too has no f**king clue. About anything.

It's funny why people care enough to try and guess a trailer date. Like, if a trailer does drop on any of the endless guesses, what are you going to do, then? Guess when the next trailer drops? Guess the release date? Then what? 🤷♂️ the game will release when it releases, and time will move at exactly the same pace between now and that moment 😁
I must be the only person who doesn't care about this game I mean I've always preferred red dead redemption 1 and 2 I hear about the developers charging 100 than I hear it will be 30 fps seriously putting me off
The numbers 2 and 30? Obviously the next GTA6 trailer is the 30th day of the second month, February 30th.

I mean, hopefully, it’s coming soon, right? I want a release date, so we can finally get release dates on the rest of the gaming calendar. It feels like GTA6 is mucking up the announcement of any kind of line-up.

I think this game comes out in 2026 and that might get confirmed at the next investor call.
@Brundleflies21 dated is relative. People will complain if all companies do a mission structure the same. I see no problem with what rockstar does.
@Vaako007 You're well within your right to enjoy it and I won't begrudge you your enjoyment. However, I personally see it as hideously dated. For a company that thrives on sandbox game worlds and hyper realistic physics Rockstar's mission structure is ruthlessly linear to the point of absurdity. At no point does the game have confidence in the player to approach a mission uniquely so they are railroaded into playing each mission exactly how Rockstar want you to, with any resistance from you met with a 'Mission Failed' screen.
