Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is getting another substantial DLC offering this summer, this time based on the recent Dragon Ball Daima anime.

This is the first chapter in a two-part expansion, with the second half coming at a later date. But even so, the DLC's set to be a big one, boasting an entirely new story campaign (naturally), and a new open world map to explore.

Daima itself is set between the end of Dragon Ball Z and the start of Dragon Ball Super, as Goku and the gang adventure through the weird and wonderful Demon Realm — their powers having been diminished by the underworld's newest king.

It's no real surprise to see Bandai Namco maintaining support for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. The game smashed through an incredibly impressive 8 million sales last year, and we assume that those numbers are still climbing — especially with DLC like this now on the horizon.
