Developer Q-Games, makers of the fan favourite PixelJunk series, has announced its next title, Dreams of Another — and it's all a bit of a mystery so far.
Coming to PS5 with PSVR2 support this year, this is a "third-person exploration-action game" built around a particular theme: "There is no creation without destruction."
It seems this game is a shooter of some sort, only your gunfire materialises objects within the world rather than destroying them.
According to the PS Blog, the game utilises "point cloud technology", with countless particles onscreen that come together to form the world and objects within it. It creates a really unusual and unique visual style.

We must admit, we're curious to discover more about this surreal game — hopefully it isn't too far away.

It is vague. It gives off guns with particles and some other world. The guns I think is a bit misleading as the rest seems more suited to other types of themes it's just the guns are more for exploration like a Metroid which I think is totally fine.
It gave me unfinished swan vibes (not 1 to 1 but aspects of the blots and exploration is what I mean by that) in a way. keep in mind not played that game I just remember bits from it from another person I talked to that has played it.
It's really hard to tell yet.
Ugh I’m getting sick of Q-Games tbh. 🫢
They announced PixelJunk Eden 2 for PS5 years ago and will now have released two other games instead of it. At least just say if Eden 2 is still coming.
Love this! A captivating, interesting kind of quirky game. And the soundtrack was really good too.
