Tetris Forever is an excellent compendium of classic puzzle gaming action, combining an incredible collection of block-falling games with documentary snippets and archival footage in the tradition of Digital Eclipse's latest, like Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration, and The Making of Karateka. It seems there's still more story to tell; Tetris Forever's "biggest-ever update", adding two more games from the series' long history (as well as tweaking existing titles), is now live, free for all.
We are confident everyone will be familiar with the two games added from the glorious MS-DOS days: Spectrum Holobyte's 1991 Super Tetris and AcademySoft's 1988 Tetris v. 3. 12. (Thanks, Eurogamer.) These are pretty neat additions, and it's great to see how committed the developers are to preserving video game history, a cause we are only too happy to champion.

I'm not very good at it, but Tetris is a pretty perfect game. I need to pick this up. Too many games.
I do think its odd these are only being added now, but hey I think it shows how committed Digital Eclipse is to these titles. Hopefully these are included on the physical release!
