The monthly PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium content refreshes have now arrived, meaning Sony has also updated the Last Chance to Play section of the service to confirm what is on the way out next month. The list is taken from the Japanese PS Store, but the departing PS5, PS4 titles are expected to translate worldwide.
Should there be any variation between the Japanese and EU / USA departure lists, we'll update this article. For now, though, eight games will be removed from PS Plus Extra on 15th April 2025, and those are:
- Animal Well (PS5)
- Tales of Kenzera: ZAU (PS5)
- Nour: Play with Your Food (PS5, PS4)
- Deliver Us Mars (PS5, PS4)
- Miasma Chronicles (PS5)
- Stray Blade (PS5)
- Kena: Bridge of Spirits (PS5, PS4)
- Slay the Spire (PS4)
All of a smaller scope than the biggest AAA releases, their shorter nature means you could at least start and finish quite a lot of them between now and mid-April. The likes of Animal Well, Slay the Spire, and Kena: Bridge of Spirits come very highly recommended, so it's best to move them to the front of your PS Plus backlog if you still want to play them.
The eight titles will be removed from the service on 15th April 2025, and if you wish to continue playing past that point, you'll need to buy a copy. Had you been planning on playing any of these PS5, PS4 games soon? Move them to the front in the comments below.

Shame I enjoyed Kena.
Hmm I wanted to finish Animal Well and play ZAU but idk if I can make it in time.
I should probably just buy AW, it's pretty great.
Deliver Us Mars was fun (play Deliver Us The Moon first though) and Kena is great but I bought that on release.
Bought Kena as soon as I got me a PS5. Great game, play it if you can.
This one is sad. I was planning to play Kena, Animal Well and Deliver Us Mars. Well, maybe in the future...
Guess I gotta hurry on with my Animal Well playthrough
To be honest - can't say I missed Extra at all since I dropped it last December.... have plenty of great backlog, and buying ala carte what I want, when I want. If I'm being honest, yes there's some decent games on offer - but I know a lot would be ones I try out and uninstall to save space for bigger / longer games. Sad but true.
So glad I don't subscribe to this, would've been very stressfull. Can't even keep up with my PS+ essential backlog ...
S**t I guess I’ll be playing deliver us mars next.
There goes Slay the Spire leaving the service... again.
Ooof, this is the first one in a while that hurts. And it hurts a lot. I had plans on playing Animal Well, Kena, and Zau. Doubt I'll be able to squeeze all of them in before departure, but I'll try to get at least two.
Animal Well is going to hurt…
Bought kena wish I didn’t 😂 played the demo liked it bought the game got bored very quickly but struggled to finish it took over a year. Haven’t played it again since.
Dang, four on the list I was planning to play.
Tales of Kenzera is fairly short (even to platinum), if anyone's wondering. It's pretty good, played it at launch.
I'm not deep into anything at the moment, so might give Animal Well or Nour a go.
Gonna try to shuffle Kena and Nour into my current rotation then. Wanted to get around to Animal Well too but other Metroidvanias have taken priority, may hold off there for now.
I tried to like kena but the combat and exploration wasn't good but I did like the lil fur dudes running around.
The rest, not too worried to lose em.
I have only Essential. Do someone make track of comming and leaving games in Extra? In other words, do games stay similar time, or do it vary too much (like some games stay forever and some games leave in month or two)?
It seems they remove the really good stuff and replace it, for the most part, with content of inferior quality. At least they give a decent notice period before existing games are removed, I suppose.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits was great
Well, I want to play Animal Well, ZAU, Nour, and Kena but I've been putting them off... Time to pause the dragon Age playthrough...
Deliver Us Mars was good, especially if you'd already played Deliver Us the Moon. I already owned Kena and never did finish it - very pretty, but I fell out of it.
@Voltan How important would you say it is to play deliver us the moon first? No way I can play both in a month, but I want to play Mars.
I keep trying to get into Animal Well but always falll of of it and end up doing something else. Guess this may be the push I neeced.
I had to stop playing Kena after 2 hours, not a good game despite its presentation. Animal well and Zau are both on my system though I doubt I'll get to either in the next month 😅
@Voltan try Animal well, I was just wto write that I haven't finished it, but started, and it is surprisingly good
@djlard it's different. Some disappear in two-three months, some are for a year. Can't say if it's just payed advertising from the studio (speculating about it) or it's just lack of interest to the game.
Both game services seem to be absolutely hemorrhaging amazing games and gaining very ***** few the last few months.
I have stopped both my psplus and gamepass until they get at least a title or two I want (atom fall and south of midnight have my interest on gamepass). I have no idea what psplus may add. Ive seen zero games I want or haven't played for a few months now, other than lost records, which took a whopping single afternoon to play the available episode in. It was good, but I have nothing else on the service for me.
I'll see these suckers when they get better libraries (for my tastes) together.
@SeanOhOgain that's crazy Kena is an absolute hidden gem imo. I ***** love that game!
To each, but it's no slouch.
(I didn't love the final boss but it's fantastic for every other minute)
8/10 for me.
@eM1x029 Thank you. So it looks Extra isn't for me. I have about 2 hours a day for playing and huge backlog. Average game (40 hours) takes me about month and paying extra money for this "hurry" library doesn't seem like good investment.
This might be the biggest month of loss in terms of quality that Ps+ has seen to date. Glad I've done most of them, will make sure I do deliver us mars.
Already platnumed, slay the spire, miasma chronicles, animal well, tales of kenzera and kena.
I'd recommend every single one of them but seen as it's probably the most unknown I'll champions miasma chronicles. Anybody who likes xcom should make sure they play this, made by thr same guys that did mutant year zero.
Another reason why I'll stick to buying games on sales rather than paying for a steep subscription
@Jeff2sayshi Quite important IMO, as it sets up the whole premise for Mars, but it's only a 5 hour game. Mars is a bit longer.
@eM1x029 that's the thing - I did start it and I liked it but I'm not sure I can find the time to finish it in time
@djlard I feel you, I work at sea - 4 weeks work, 4 weeks home, when I'm home there are too many other things to deal with on daily basis, but I earn decent salary and premium is not an issue. Not all of us are like so though. Tye other thing - where I live in the public library there are hundreds of PS5 games to loan....
Right I'll get on Kena then
