Trophy tracking website TrueTrophies claims to have the scoop on the full PS5 Trophy list for Microsoft's upcoming PlayStation port, Forza Horizon 5.
The open world racer is set for launch on 29th April 2025; when it arrives, it'll reportedly bring with it a total of 165 Trophies to collect, though Platinum hunters won't need all of them to grab the top prize.
That total includes the base game's Trophy count as well as a few additional lists for DLC packs, such as the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure add-ons.
The base list includes 54 Trophies (including the Plat), which is more in line with what you'd expect.
Comparing the Trophy list to the Xbox achievements list, they seem identical, which is no real surprise as the reward systems are practically interchangeable.
So, what's expected of you if you want that Forza Horizon 5 Platinum? TrueTrophies claims it'll take "at least 40 hours of competitive driving" to obtain the top gong, with some online multiplayer Trophies on top of that.
You'll need to find and destroy all 250 Bonus Boards, win 80 race events, and get Manufacturer Bonuses for 25 or more cars.
It sounds as though the game will keep Trophy hunters busy, especially if you want every Trophy with those DLC packs.
Are you planning to Plat Forza Horizon 5 on PS5? Tell us in the comments section below.

How does this play compare to burnout? How arcady is it? Wish their was a demo to try it out
Already have the Premium edition ordered, can’t wait and will definitely be going for all 165 trophies.
@Americansamurai1 I wouldn’t even compare the game to Burnout, very different experience. Very arcadey and one of the best driving series there is. Forza Horizon was always a reason to buy an Xbox.
@Americansamurai1 While I am hardly a racing game expert, I’d say Forza Horizon is more in line with like…Need for Speed Underground 2.
I think there is some tuning you can do to cars for better vehicle performance (been a while since I played Horizon so my memory is fuzzy), but not on the same level as a true Racing Sim.
Definitely not over-the-top like Burnout.
Racing Sim “Lite”: For those that want to drive real cars in a realistic manner (in that every car does feel different depending on size, drivetrain, etc)…without all the nitty-gritty details that go with it (actually fine-tuning said car).
A Dodge Charger is going to feel different from a Ford SUV. A Ferrari prototype racing supercar will feel different from a Nissan street racing car. Stuff like that.
@Americansamurai1
I'm assuming you're refering to Burnout Paradise
I recently bought Burnout Paradise as it was on sale for under £3.
To put it politely, I played for about 15 minutes and uninstalled it.
I've been completely spoilt by Forza Horizon and there is simply no comparison. Forza stands head and shoulders above it.
For an arcade open world racer nothing come close to Forza Horizon in my opinion
@Americansamurai1 it’s unbelievable. Best in class in terms of open world racer. 10/10.
Still seems surreal it’s hitting PlayStation.
Will most certainty be getting the platinum and add on trophies. Really looking forward to playing again with a more preffered controller!
Strange question. If I get it I’ll try to complete it. If I don’t have the skill or it doesn’t hold my interest long enough then i won’t complete it I guess, but I don’t go into a game expecting not to try to complete all its challenges.
Still so hard to get used to hearing about Trophies with an Xbox Game Studios title…
Is this how Sega fans felt 25 years ago?
@Americansamurai1
Burnout Paradise is a pure arcade racer completely different game to Forza Horizon. Forza Horizon is more of a hybrid that leans more towards arcade racing but still has some sim elements to it. In terms of handling FH is closer to DriveClub but unlike DriveClub FH is an open world game with a lot more diversity in the vehicles you drive and locations you drive through, from street racing to off-road racing etc.
@Americansamurai1 I think it finds a good balance between arcadey and realistic. Realistic enough to be believable, but arcadey enough to be actually fun to play.
Chicken Dinner should be a laugh as long as you can disable cross-play.
I always wanted GT to have a Horizon type game but alas can't spend full price on racing games, will buy it one day hopefully.
I played a lot of this on Series X and the achievements take a while to get. Most of them are fun with the few that are just a little annoying. I do wish we could delete games on Xbox and PS that we played and didn’t like that we got 1 trophy or 5G on. I would happily give back the points and bronze to have it off my list so it’s easier to scroll. I know it will likely never happen. But that is a dream feature to achievements and trophies for me.
@Quintumply Can you play offline modes without a Microsoft account?

Actually The Crew: Motorfest is very close. Enjoyed both. Forza on PC and Motorfest on PS5 Pro with RTX
@N0CYmr0k
Yes I'll give you that it's a close 2nd place.
This might sound like a strange analogy but hear me out.......
You buy yourself a really expensive designer pair of trainers (Forza Horizon).......You also get yourself a cheap imitation copy of those designer trainers (Motorfest)
The imitation ones still look and feel pretty good and to the untrained eye could possibly pass off as being the same thing.
However deep down inside you know their not real and you'll always prefer the proper designer pair because you know they're the real deal.
I'm aware that Motorfest isn't cheap and probably cost more or less the same lol, I'm just giving a silly comparison to a different scenario.
