With the reveal of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach's release date and that incredible new trailer, we've certainly got Hideo Kojima on the brain. We can never get enough, but thankfully, the auteur creators dulcet tones are coming to Remedy Entertainment's Control Ultimate Edition on PS5.
In some surprising news, Remedy has just released a patch for Control Ultimate Edition owners on PC, granting them entry to Dr Yoshimi Tokui's Guided Imagery Experience. This mission features VO from Kojima and was previously exclusive to the PS4 Digital Deluxe version of the game (thanks, Eurogamer). Other previously digital-only goodies are unlocking, which is pretty neat.
The patch has been promised for PS5 players too, but it will follow shortly after: "We have a small team working on these updates, so we want to space them out to give us time to fix potential issues that might come up. We appreciate your patience!"

I've heard Control gets incredible, but you spend sooooo long with really limited combat options. I want to try it again, but I bounced off because of that.
I remember it being kinda weird at the time the "Ultimate" edition was announced that those suits and mission were missing. But I suppose it's good for players just jumping in now.
Control is very interesting visually and has good ideas, but I found the gameplay pretty frustrating and shallow. The Alan Wake dlc was a tragedy to play, even though it had really intriguing new enemies the combat was just ass. I had no idea Hideo had a cameo. I guess that means our world is one of many worlds

Heck yeah. Im absolutely adored Control / AW universe. Platinum both games on ps4 for control and ps5 for AW2.

@LikelySatan It doesn't take that long. basically once you get telekinesis the combat really slaps.
@LikelySatan I think Control is very good even while your options are limited.
But also yeah, once you can toss things around, it's a blast - and that's one of the first things you get.
Loved Control, technical issues aside on PS4. I never did play the Ultimate edition when came to PS Plus with the dlc, as I had only recently completed the game and there is no way to transfer your saves.
One of the best games I have played on PS5 and now a little bit better! The Ashtray maze in particular is a massive highlight.
I'm still disappointed that the next game is a mp only title and I don't know if we should expect a load more from this universe given the poor profitability of them....
I love control, even though i didnt understand anything regarding the story but the atmosphere is just something else man
@Medic_alert remedy is making a singleplayer sequel aswell
@Cry_Zero yeah I know but the next one is the mp one I think and I will probably never play it which is a shame because I love the world and lore.
Great game but I'm finished with it now can't wait for control 2 though
