Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land may be a bit of a mouthful, but the game is great.
As we concluded in our PS5 review earlier today: “It's a fantastic jumping in point to the franchise for new players, and has enough tweaks to the established formula to provide a breath of fresh air for existing fans. The story is a little slight, but the appealing characters, streamlined yet robust crafting system, and rewarding exploration make this a recipe for a good time.”
But don’t just take our word of it!
A free demo will release on 17th March, enabling you to play the entire prologue and the first few quests of the campaign. Even better, your save data will carry across to the full game, so you’ll be able to continue where you left off come launch day.
We love that these meaty demos have become increasingly commonplace for JRPGs, and with save data transferring, there’s no real reason not to give this a go.

I've already preordered the game.
Nice. I've always been interested in this series, but there have never been demos before. I've nearly bought the remake of the first game multiple times.
Just to clarify, this isn't one of those free weekly trials that disappears, it's a normal demo, Yes? I want to try it but I've been stuck on 76% in GoWR for like 2 weeks, that big open area just keeps expanding. I'd like to finish that before starting this, which may be like another month. 😁
Awesome. Cant wait for this one.
I'll bite on that. Always wanted some first hand experience with these games.
@rjejr OH that area. Yeah they went nuts there. You could easily miss the entire section. Love that game. I'm not a trophy guy but I did platinum that.
Yep! I'm going to play this. I love RPGs.
Man...I haven't touched an Atelier game since the PS2. I will check this out.
