A number of games have already reserved your free time 10 times over during September, so yet another new release couldn't hurt, right? Valheim, with its full 1.0 version, has added to the list with a PS5 launch now set for 9th September 2026.
It's leaving early access after five years, and brings the fully up-to-date base version of Valheim to PS5 alongside a new biome in the Deep North. It's £15.49 / $19.99 on PC, so expect a similar price for the PS5 version.
Creative director Robin Eyre praised the large community it has built during the lead-up to the full version: "Approaching 1.0 feels equal parts exciting and anxious as we’ve worked hard to make Deep North a worthy conclusion to the Valheim journey!"
