007 First Light looks to be more and more of a success for IO Interactive, as PS Store data for its release month reveals the James Bond origin story was the best-selling game on the PS5, PS4 digital store during May.
This is across the USA, Canada, and European territories, which Sony tracks in its monthly downloads charts reports.
Released on 27th May 2026, 007 First Light was only available for five days during the month, but its sales during that short time period were still enough to see it take the top spot. So far, it's been confirmed 1.5 million copies of the game were sold during the first 24 hours of availability.
The other big PS5 release in May, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, was the second best-selling title of the month across the tracked regions. Much was made of where Saros was placed during its launch month within these PS Store download charts, and for May 2026, the month after it debuted, it was the 9th most downloaded game in the USA and Canada, and the 13th in Europe.
