More and more games are getting the axe from the PS Store, with some publishers seemingly starting to act before Sony’s eye of Sauron falls on them.
In a social media statement late last week, Xeneder Team announced that it had made the “utmost difficult decision to delist a significant portion of our catalogue”.
In follow-up posts, it implied that it will continue developing for the PS5, but its actions here seem to suggest it’s worried it could get banned as part of Sony’s ongoing shovelware purge.

Its catalogue includes a slew of cheap and cheerful games with easy Platinum Trophies.
Delisted Games reports that Xitilon Games is also getting the chop from the PS Store; it’s released over 200 titles to date, including a bunch of language learning apps, all with easily unlockable Platinum Trophies.
(Actually, hands-up, I did buy and complete the Learn Basic Mandarin release because I thought it might be a fun way to sharpen up my skills. It took me less than 15 minutes to get all the Trophies.)
Anyway, this is clearly a pattern now, as Sony’s probably removed tens of thousands of games at this point.
It seems its actions are actually starting to spook publishers, who are now manually removing their games before they’re hit by the ban hammer.
While there’s still a long way to go, it’s clear the Japanese giant is not messing around here, and is committed to cleaning up the PS Store as much as possible.
