The Eternal Life of Goldman is one of the most promising platformers out there, and you can try it out for yourself right now on PS5, courtesy of a free demo.

This game's been getting people excited ever since it was first announced back in 2024. Its striking hand animated style continues to wow, and its gameplay has always looked silky smooth.

The catch is that Goldman still doesn't have a release date — just a vague 2026 window — but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it pop up during one of these imminent summer showcases.

In the meantime, you've just gotta give this demo a shot — if only to marvel at the visual direction. Keep in mind, however, that your progress won't carry over to the full game.

Interesting. I saw this article and checked for the demo on Switch, but the game isn‘t even listed in the eShop (or I‘m not clever enough to find it).

Okay, I will test it on PS5.

Great news. Now just waiting for the release date. Also, the demo is seemingly 90 minutes, which is pretty hefty for a game like this. They must be very confident in it
