We were wowed by The Eternal Life of Goldman with its debut trailer back in August, and it continues to look fantastic in this latest video.
The game is a 2D platformer inspired by 16-bit era classics, only with painstakingly hand-painted stages and hand-animated characters. The result looks staggeringly good, and we get a very brief taste of what the process involves in the new trailer.
All that hard work looks to be worth it. Drawing from legends and fairytales, there's lots of imaginative creature design and environments on display, and that art style just brings everything together.
There's no release date for this one yet, but you can wishlist it now on PS Store. Are you interested in The Eternal Life of Goldman? Tell us in the comments section below.

"Done without any AI" (from the video)
I told y'all that developers would start to use that as a selling point before very long.
Well, that is surely gorgeous - reminds me of Cuphead (<3) I hope it has quality gameplay to back its style up.
Although a different art style, it's nice to see graphics approaching Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
Looks nice, I like the music, and it’s about time us old men were represented in video games, but it looks Donkey Kong hard, and I’m too old to handle that level of difficulty any more. 👴🏻
Gosh some people are so talented!
This looks just lovely. Beautiful.
Everything looks awesome with one exception... the main character. He looks like the guy from UP and I'm not sure I want to play as the guy from UP!
Is this one of those high praised games that ultimately gets a 6 when it's released?
Stunning, looks like a true labour of love. If they can put half as much effort into the gameplay as the art then could be very special.
Wow! This game looks incredible!
Adding this to my Steam Wishlist.
