@Thrillho @colonelkilgore Amazing! It’s not often games companies listen to us users. Perhaps Sony will take note 😉

I’d also like a million but happy to take that in free games over the course of my lifetime if that’s easier thanks Remedy 🤞

Returnal plat! 54 hours into it and I only understood around half of it!

Good stuff @Iver & @Just_2_milky, I thought GoT was a joy but yet to play Returnal (it's one of the games I'm most looking forward to though).

54 hours sounds pretty good for Returnal by all accounts.

@Iver congrats and that’s a fair assessment. Jin isn’t exactly oozing with personality. But I grew to like and appreciate him. Great and beautiful game, though, as you say. And well worthy of a sequel.

@Just_2_milky Congrats on the Returnal plat. Yeah - 54 hrs is pretty good. I am quite a few collectibles shy of the platinum and have close to 80 hrs invested.

“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”

Thrillho

@Iver I feel like I ask this of anyone who plays Ghost but did you play in English or with subtitles?

I played with subtitles and Jin felt like a solid character. I tried English language for a bit but the voicing felt really wooden to me like that.

@Iver awesome!

I'm currently playing it myself.

Got the Sackboy platinum the other day. Good fun from start to finish

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

@Gremio108 Congrats on getting that!

I'm stuck on getting the last few, one of which is finishing the final knitted knight trial in a reasonable time. I've watched a few videos and don't seem to be able to pull of some of the amazing moves that some do.

@colonelkilgore @RogerRoger Cheers folks!

@render Have you made it to the end yet? When I finally made it, I was surprised to find that time wasn't as much of a factor as I thought it would be. You can definitely get away with taking it slow in places.

My advice would be to practice the trials individually and work out which ones you're better at, and allow yourself some extra time on your trickier ones. Then put it all into practice on the big one. You'll get it eventually - after all, you've already completed them, so you've got it in your locker.

@Gremio108 I've done each of the trials individually and have got gold on pretty much all of them I think but just struggle to chain it together into one long run. I then probably got put off by watching some videos of other peoples runs and thought that time was going to be really difficult to make. Sounds like I just need to go back and try to put it altogether into a run again.

I'm at 90% on the trophies so just have that one and the one to high five another player, which I somehow missed doing, and I'm there. I really want to get it as I love the game and if I don't do it then it will irk me somewhat. Probably not as much as being as close to getting the The Witness platinum but still quite a bit 😂

Gremio108

@render Yeah, juat concentrate on getting through it and the time factor will take care of itself. For example, I'm terrible at the bit with the giant rotating platforms, so I just stood still and waited for the right time to jump rather than try and keep jumping about everywhere. Once you've practiced at your weakest trials you'll be able to string it all together no problem.

I say "no problem", it took me a whole weekend to beat! Just try and enjoy the struggle, because it leaves you with a weirdly empty feeling when you've finally done it. And high-fiving another player will be a good way to get the platinum!

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

@Gremio108 Good advice, cheers. I think I'll start having a quick go at the each of the trials again through the week and then try and get this done one weekend as well. I feel the same way every time I get a platinum, like I was expecting something super exciting to happen but it never does.

@render I sometimes get a washed-out feeling when I get a platinum. It's usually the games I've enjoyed most and I think it's because I've put so much of myself into it, and now it's over. Sounds strange I know, but I think there's something in it.

I've enjoyed Sackboy so much that I'll probably keep playing it for a bit. I got the final dreamer orb the other day. I'm considering 100%-ing all levels, including ace-ing them, but that might be a bit much...

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

@Gremio108 I know exactly what you mean, and for me as well it's the thought that perhaps that's all I can get out of the game unless there's another reason to keep playing. For some games like Returnal and Death Stranding I've found a reason to do that, and I think Sackboy is one of those too what with the extra challenges.

I made a start on getting all the orbs and 100%-ing the levels a while ago but have probably only managed to do 60 - 70% of them, still plenty to go. Good luck if you continue down that path.

@render @Gremio108 I carried on playing The Pathless after I got the Platinum, but only to take a more screen shots and do a few more puzzles.

Think I played on after Ghost of Tsushima, but only briefly as it felt a bit soulless.

Life is more fun when you help people succeed, instead of wishing them to fail.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

@JohnnyShoulder @Gremio108 I think I used to carry on playing games way past finishing them but now that I'm not restricted to just playing the one game that I could afford out of the 2 - 3 I'd buy a year then I just want to move onto something else. The game has to offer something truly special to want to carry on which only a few games do. I think in some ways the trophies actually prolong me moving onto a new games in that way they are good, but also once I've got the platinum I don't always go back to that game again.

Plat 55 - Mass Effect 3

Phew after 120 hours that's the trilogy finished. Eyed up the insanity extra trophies and got annihilated attempting the omega dlc. Looking up trophy guides biotics are one of the worst for attempting an insanity run and it wasn't fun. So screw those additional trophies.
