@sorteddan@ScarletSpidey Congratulations gang on more sterling work and @nessisonett for that triple threat! 👍 how many Lego plats are you on now? Super villains is my first foray into Lego games, looking to plat it this month but I needed a break from the tedium.
We’re playing The Plucky Squire this month, join us!
@sorteddan Congrats on having loadsofmoney (bish bash bosh ... 10k ... of trophies 😜 ) @ScarletSpidey Nice. That game is on my list to play although I need to buy it first. @nessisonett Congrats on Yakuza LAD, I've Have that loaded and ready to go although I don't think I will be going for that plat. And well done on circumventing the trophy glitches on the Lego games as they are notorious for them and I'm sure those two aren't any different.
@AgentCooper@colonelkilgore@CaptD Cheers all, the Lego platinums are getting closer to full completion, just have Lord of the Rings, Hobbit, Incredibles and The Skywalker Saga left!
@sorteddan Congrats on that 10k milestone, that is a good round number. I got the notification whilst I was playing the other day that I've hit 4k so a pitiful number in comparison.
@ScarletSpidey Great work on the GoWR plat, a good one indeed and one I thoroughly enjoyed. It was possibly a bit easier than 2018 in terms of trophy requirements but still a good challenge.
I've got two fairly non taxing ones to add from the weekend. #60 What remains of Edith Finch and #61 Donut County which I started playing 2 years ago and just thought it would be an easy one to tidy up.
@ScarletSpidey
Congrats on your Ragnorak plat. Definitely one I'll get to but knowing me it won't be for years yet.
@nessisonett
Well done on all your recent(ish) shinies.
@render
Hurrah to you for your non-taxing achievements, some days it's just what you need
And thanks to all for acknowledgement of my 10k milestone, though that number does date back to the end of my PS3 days and span more than a decade - hard to specify exactly as the oldest ones don't have dates on for some reason.

I've been playing a bit of Sackboy on and off and I had a notification yesterday telling me that @sorteddan had beaten my time on one of the knitted knight trials. Well I don't usually go for these sorts of things but I felt compelled to go back and beat the marker set down for me. I only just beat it and I can't imagine my time standing for long but I'd never seen that feature before so thought it was quite neat. I won't keep going though Dan, so if you did feel compelled then congrats 😀
@render
Yeah I've been having short bursts on it too, before I get around to serious gaming. It's not bad. I've managed to get all of the multiplayer trophies done solo just by having a second controller plugged in. So now just need to collect all stickers for the first world then go for game completion. I read that the platinum breaker for many may well be the final knitted knight trial that combines all of them one in one run so that should be fun!
And yes I got notification as soon as I logged on today that my times had been bested but so far have resisted the urge to go back and try to challenge you.

@sorteddan That final knitted knight trial is one of two trophies I've got outstanding. I've never put much time into it but thinking of going for it now. I'm going to spend some time reacquainting myself with the individual trials first, just trying to nail those every time and then when I feel confident I'll go for the big one.
I didn't manage to get half way through it when I was playing it regularly before so hopefully I'll fair better this time. It's a deceptively difficult game towards the end.
Feels like I've been plugging away at this forever -ironically.
Didn't enjoy the first few hours as I didn't know where I was supposed to be going or what I was supposed to be doing and died quite a lot. Then I got some weapons and trinkets and got into a groove and really started to like the game though did get a bit bored/frustrated towards the end.
It did take me a lot longer than the guides I read suggested.
@render Congrats. I really enjoyed What remains of EF, still need to play the ps5 version and not just for the plat.
@sorteddan Congrats on breaking out of the death spiral, I too didn't think much of it for the first few hours and after completing the game I've come to the conclusion that the initial game design was intended to extend a fairly short game. Good game for the latter two thirds but not a 10/10 imo and would have preferred Dishonoured 3
@render
Yep it'll be nice to be out of Groundhog Day. Can't remember how that film ends though. Not sure what I'll do instead tomorrow. I may have to re-watch Groundhog Day.
@CaptD
And thanks to you for getting me the multiplayer trophies out of the way before I'd really even got started with it.
Unrelated I was checking my list and noticed my last 4 platinums were: Death's Door (PS5); Death's Door (PS4); Deathrun TV (PS5); Deathloop (PS5) and that happened entirely unintentionally... Or at least unconsciously.
I think I may have to now move away from death and give life a chance.
Congrats @sorteddan on Death to the power of 4 my friend, maybe try and find a game with Life in the title next… y’know, just to even up the scales some 😉
@sorteddan As far as I can tell, that leaves your next games as: Life is Strange, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Life is Strange 2, Life is Strange: True Colors, and Life of Black Tiger.

Well I checked my library and unsurprisingly have no 'Life' games there at all. Yes, that's right, I have no Life. Still have Death Road to Canada and Dead Cells installed on the PS4 though. I'm going to guess it's more a reflection of video game trends generally than on me personally but who knows.
I suppose I could just try to buy a Vita and play on that for a while.

Platinum #133 - Riders Republic - really surprised by how much I liked this. Lots of variety, massive map full of great locations and a really healthy player-count. Shout out to @CaptD for the recommendation and some good times in multiplayer.
Platinum #134 - The Surge 2 - fantastic AA souls-like from Deck 13! They know the genre so well by now that this… their third game in this style is maybe the best non-from souls-like I’ve played (it’s difficult for me to choose between this and Nioh). Brilliant combat and s-tier map design with the only drawbacks being it’s a little short.
