@Gremio108 @Cornaboyzzz Congratulations gang on your impressive platinum haul! On the subject of goose game, I still have the last two time trials to do, any tips?

@Voltan Excellent news friend! Made up for you 👍

And thank you @RogerRoger for the lovely screenshot, much obliged.

Congrats @RogerRoger on platting the last of the Syphon Filter’s… and who knows, maybe Sony Bend will reboot the series in the future. I’ve never played any of them myself but I’d be well up for playing a modern take on it.

@RogerRoger
Well done for clearing the story - straightforwardly.
And congrats on reaching #80.

@RogerRoger Well done on grabbing plat 80, like a thief in the night.
@Voltan Good show on not letting Guerilla beat you, we can't let these Devs keep getting anyway with their glitched trophies.

@Voltan Good to know it's finally fixed this time. I'll be able to pop back in and get those pesky aerial captures tidied away at last.

@RogerRoger congrats on another Syphon Filter platinum. How many is that now? I thought there was only one or two.

I see mention @Cornaboyzzz and @Gremio got the Goose plat. Big respect, much like @AgentCooper I put it away with just those last 2 time trials left. The garden one was just too annoying with the randomness of what the AI 'saw' and could undo that I think I only attempted it a couple of times. Plus it took me an absolute age to to fluke the timing on the stool swipe in the pub garden that I didn't even try a timed run.

@AgentCooper bit of a late reply but I completely cheated on those last two time trials and called in my mate as backup. Got him round, it took him an hour or so to get a feel for the game, and then we hammered them out in co-op. We beat the garden level about ten seconds before the bell rang, it was pretty funny. Not sure how many goes it would have taken me in single player.

Good job, Parappa. You can go on to the next stage now.

I just hit platinum #99 with Dragon Age II. Seems a little unreal, but here I am just one away from 100. Am I happy with everything I played to get there? Of course not. I have a couple regrets, but not too many at least. I enjoyed this game. While not Dragon Age: Origins, it had its own merits.

@MidnightDragonDX
Congratulations! That's no mean feat to get that many. And looks like we may soon have another member of the Hundred Club.

Congrats @MidnightDragonDX I would imagine that plat was a bit tricky.
A couple of regrets on your way to 100, that isn't the sound of a jumping burrito I hear is it?

Nothing quite that bad. XD Still, those shovelware makers have gotten a lot from stupid people. You will never see me play a jump game.

Several of my friends are trying to convince me to do My Name is Mayo. XD

#164 Super Stardust Ultra (PS4)
Played this for a bit May-July 21 then moved on and forgot about it. Went back to it a week or two back and have now just achieved the shiny. Sometimes games like this can remind me why I love being a gamer - almost perfect wholesome arcade goodness from when Housemarque used to do that kind of thing. A couple of funstrating trophies towards the end but I did like how the requirements made me experience most of the various game modes.

Also 15 for the year so still averaging 3 a month.

@MidnightDragonDX
I have the My Name is Mayo plat (to my shame) because it was once 40p in a sale and my will power was almost as low. Press X repeatedly for half hour and done. Made me think that they should just sell platinums on the store for £1/$1 each - because some people would buy them!

@sorteddan Nice, super stardust is great and I have that one still to do. I have most of them including the VR ones but missing the Impact boost and Endless ones.

My latest plats...
Grid Legends - Really enjoyed this, much more than Dirt 5 which I didn't think much of. It feels a complete package with a decent MP mode and campaign is now MP (like Onrush but not annoyingly Dirt 5 which was only local). Felt a bit more like Driveclub with various targets to reach (sponsors) and some point to point races, still not as refined as Driveclub but I enjoyed the changes made.
An easy platinum but some grinding is needed, you need to grind 9 Ferraris to 50m each so if you ever see a Ferrari hop in it and that applies in real life as well.
In typical money grabbing fashion Ea/code masters have dlc which sells for a quid which cuts the grind but I didn't buy that as I don't which to support such dirty practices,
3/10 difficulty, time 50hrs. highly recommended.

Table of tales PSVR. A DnD game, perhaps a hidden VR gem. Didn't think I would enjoy this too much but it is really well done despite a few bugs. 3/10 difficulty with RNG being a factor as you would expect.

@sorteddan congrats on #164 and also on maintaining your 2023 monthly average… consistency personified 👊

@CaptD well done on that Ferrari grind also (two words I’d never though I’d see connected tbh 😄).

@CaptD
The impact 30s boost was the last one I needed - spent a couple of hours this morning failing, swearing and retrying and getting nowhere near then one miraculous boost later and it's done. It's definitely down to luck as to what and where objects spawn.

Congrats to you on your Grid Legends shiny.
Did it require any online racing victory trophies? If so I may have to start it before everyone else stops playing... But oh, if you think that's a grind kindly have a look at the Around the Globe trophy on Grid (PS4). I have been doing this for 30-60 mins most day for months and still only about half way. It's the main reason I haven't started Grid Legends yet!

@colonelkilgore
Thanks mate. I gotta keep em popping consistently in order to stay ahead of you!

“We are what we pretend to be, so we must be careful about what we pretend to be.”

CaptD

@sorteddan No MP trophies and yeah that around the globe put me off playing Grid, daft perhaps but I don't like that BS and I'm surprised grinding hasn't been called out as environmentally unfriendly.
There were a few little UI bugs in Grid Legends and there is talk of trophy glitches but I think they have mostly been fixed, amazing that I feel the statement "I will wait for it to hit PS+" has more of a benefit than ever which is a sad sad statement to make and certainly not good for the industry.
