Platinum #147 - Tacoma - nice little sci fi walking/‘floating’ simulator.

Platinum #148 - Lydia - surprisingly poignant and beautiful but morbid aesthetic.

Platinum #149 - Vengeful Heart - enjoyable 8-bit (or maybe 16-bit) cyberpunk visual novel.

Platinum #150 - Final Fantasy XVI - unbelievably epic narrative, really enjoyable combat (which only improves during ng+), super high production values… not quite a perfect ten but as close to a top-tier 9 as I’ll ever play!

edit. @nessisonett congrats

@nessisonett
You're right. That name is a good one! Well done on your latest shiny.

And congrats @colonelkilgore
Though you're running a little late, I was expecting your monthly announcement around 6-7am yesterday . 😉

@nessionett
Congrats on that and yes the play on words is far better than numerical sequels. I was disappointed when insomniac did the same with Resistance 2 although the subtitle Fall of Man wasn't trying to be funny.

@colonelkilgore Well done on those and I will get to ff16 at some point.
Good luck with Dragons Dogma, I tried a couple of times to get into that but failed so I hope you enjoy it. I'm looking forward to the sequel as I feel it will be less constrained.

@oliverp @AgentCooper @sorteddan @CaptD much appreciated, cheers guys.

@sorteddan tell me about it… Final Fantasy XVI is the game that just keeps giving, so much so that it pushed me a day behind schedule 😅! Something that my control-freak id just can’t abide… which is maybe the reason that I couldn’t rate it as a 10 🤔…

@CaptD I think that you’ll really enjoy it when you get around to it mate… though I would suggest breaking up the playthroughs with something a little different in between.

I finished The Last Road on Earth (PS5) last night, so that's 106. You know, this wasn't my first PSN name. Wonder where I'd be if I hadn't changed it, but zero regrets.

Congrats, @colonelkilgore, I’m hot on your heels (FFXVI, not 150 😅)! Sounds like they just announced the development of dlc 😄

#182 Grid Legends (PS5)
Phew glad that's done, been chipping away at this for couple of weeks. But more of a grind than I was anticipating but nothing especially challenging. Around the 50 hour mark.

@Bentleyma
Oh nice. How long did it take you? (If especially short I'll prob wait to pick it up in a sale)

@MidnightDragonDX
I read a review on that and it sounds... different! Is there any gameplay at all or do you just watch? Well done though, they all count.

Well done @sorteddan, always nice to put the finishing touches to something that has started to feel like a grind.

Bentleyma

@sorteddan Longer than it should have because I kept dying near the end. If you’re not rubbish like me then you can finish it in about 3 hours.

@render cheers buddy, it actually has come quite a bit quicker than I’d have though a couple of years ago tbh. Well, I now have around a year to settle on a worthy game for #200 I suppose 😅

@colonelkilgore That's a tough one but something truly special might come out before then that we don't even know about 🤞

I know what I’m doing to get my trophy total to 5,000, but haven’t started it yet. Being lazy.

#44 - Ratchet Gladiator/Deadlocked

Only one in the series I’d played before the 2016 remake, had it on the PS2 and loved it. While I don’t think it’s as good as 2 or 3, it’s got a great combat system and works well in that regard. 150 skill points is mad though, pretty hard platinum in that regard. Special mention for the guy that voices the commentator too, it’s the dad from Fairly Odd Parents if my ears are working correctly.

@nessisonett further congrats on your Ratchet odyssey, I hadn’t even heard of this one tbh… sounds intriguing though.
