Good fun. Enjoyed the dungeon crawling hack n slash more than the cult management side of it but a decent effort that's kept me occupied for the last few weeks. Was slightly miffed that the free DLC updates have made the platinum a bit more long winded to obtain but nothing too difficult. The trophies for beating bosses without taking any damage were the only real challenge.
I will probably spend a couple more hours going for all the relics for full 100% on the trophy list.
I'm playing Yakuza like a dragon and have one trophy left, I said I wouldn't go for the plat as it is a bit of a grind and drag to get that last trophy but you know what, I did most of the grind and am at a position to give the final dungeon a go.
This has been my first Yakuza game that I have completed (story at least), I do like the Yakuza stories and characters but can't stand the combat however with LAD and it's turn based combat which I find good fun.
EDIT And done. Just under 100 hours all in, 4.5/10 difficulty. The battles for the final trophy included some next level BS, completed it on run number two after being killed in the first fight...the early fights are some of the worst.
@sorteddan Cult is a great game. Using the cloak to increased damage until you get hit makes the bosses much easier but getting hit by a minion right before the boss fight is the most frustrating thing ever. Some of the new content looks fun but not enough to make me go back to the game.
@CaptD that final dungeon run is brutal but at least you don’t have to redo the whole thing if you lose at the last fight. It took me a few goes to beat that fight as sometimes you just get unlucky. One of the “easiest” Yakuza platinums going though!
@Thrillho
Oh yeah, it was that great jeopardy of whether to kill a few more easy dudes for extra % or just go for the boss. I had previously failed on the last one maybe half a dozen times and ended up doing it with more than 500% damage bonus!

#200 Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 (PS4)
Well I knew the double hundo was coming up and knew the first plat on this profile was Lego Marvel Super Heroes back in July 2014 on PS3 (think I played through most of that with my nephew when he was much younger) so when I saw the sequel going for a few quids in a sale I thought it would be an apt title to reach the milestone with.
As ever with Lego games a simple enough shiny but a heck of a grind to get 100%. Somewhere in the 50 hour region.
Happy with that. Looking forward to the next 200!

@sorteddan Nice. I'm tempted to download Lego City Undercover which has just appeared on Extra.
My latest is Tinykin. 2/10 difficulty and 10 hours.
Really enjoyed this, great little game, very relax and chill game with good music.
It is very much a collectathon, you do have to collect EVERY kin and piece of gold so it is best to collect every item before moving on to the next level and there is no radar/detector feature.
@Voltah Yeah Ubisoft has a shocking reputation for glitchy trophies.
My latest platinum is Tiny Tina's Wonderlands (on Extra)
I wasn't going to play this because I didn't fancy the grind and the last Borderlands game didn't stay on Extra very long and I don't like being under the clock plus reviews just didn't look good.
Anyway I really enjoyed this, the gunplay feels great and there are some good spells, lots of fire and sparks raining down.
Difficulty 4.5 , time 35 hours. The grind wasn't an issue, the last trophy (chaos trials) amounts to completing 3 runs rather than 20 as noted in the trophy guides so I guess this aspect has been changed.
So overall the easiest and less grindest Borderlands game I've played.
Congrats on your latest shiny @CaptD
Glad to hear it was better than expected. I had been a bit put off by Borderlands 3 which just seemed to drag on too long - despite having previously loved the other games.

I got the platinum in Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth. It's a fun one. Continues the trend of recent Yakuza games having much less intense trophy lists. Still have to play a lot of it but you don't need to do every single thing.
Platinum #54 - Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown
Great game and fun plat - took me about 30h
My game completion is at 97.5% but I don't think I wanna bother getting 100% after they made me wait for a patch
Edit:
Aaaaand Platinum #55 - Tekken 8
A pretty easy one - game basically has you complete the single player mode + try every available game mode and use every battle mechanic once.
Well done on recent platinums and to Ubisoft for fixing theirs.
My recent ones are...
Awesome asteroids PSVR.1 - Can't beat some spacey action in VR. 2/10 difficulty, cross buy as well so I have it in VR2 to look forward, eventually.
Call of Cthulhu - Not bad, good story and you can't beat some wacky Lovecraft action.
However the platinum is not fun with lots of missables so I followed a guide as it really is a one and done sort of game. 3/10 difficulty. 15 hours.
@sorteddan I see there is some Warhammer crossover dlc coming for Powerwash so I had a look on psnprofiles forums and they posted a tweet from the Devs to say that the trophy will be fixed in the update on the 27th Feb.
Hopefully then you will be sorted Dan.
@CaptD
Wow. That was so long ago it will be like getting a free plat.
Congrats on your latest double.
Oh, and I'm ALWAYS sorted 😉
Just my natural state.
And while I'm here, some shinys I have gotten this month:
A Plague Tale: Requiem (PS5)
SilverChains (PS4)
Unpacking (PS5)
Tacoma (PS4)
Slaycation Paradise (PS5)
Infamous First Light (PS4)
Untitled Goose Game (PS4)
The Gardens Between (PS5)

Requires you to learn the game inside out which is no mean feat, you also have to beat the game 4 times and get 5 silent assassins on all difficulties. Time consuming (hence this is #49 and not #47) but really glad to have finished it off. One of my favourite games of all time and I’ve been playing for over 15 years so being able to polish it off for good is a great feeling. Now to find what to do for #50! Maybe Lego Star Wars since that’s where the platinum hunt started.
@RogerRoger Was tempted to go on to Absolution and then I played 5 seconds of the tutorial for the first time since the first and only time I saw the credits roll 😂
