Hey not bad, I didn't think I knew so much about Ratchet and Clank!
12/15. Probably a personal best. I know Ratchet and Clank pretty considering I did get into the series until late in the PS3 era.
10/15 for me. I'm alright with that.
Got 9/15
I only played R&C remake and Crack in Time so my knowledge about the series is limited.
12/15, I could've gotten a few others but dropped them lol, and I felt like a fool for missing them.
Only missed what the highest rated game was, I thought it was A Crack in Time, and also the biggest gap between titles, thought it was between Into the Nexus and the remake.
12/15 For me. Missed some of the European questions. I remember first seeing the picture of Ratchet & Clank on the cover of Game Informer and I audibly said "What the @#$@ is this nonsense?!" It's now one of my favorite game series and I've platinumed every iteration that can be platinumed. Fun, funny, and great characters. Even took my nephew to see the film when it released.
10/15, almost all guesswork though, as rift apart last month was my first ever game, but adored it, so have now picked up the 2016 game to play this month.
I know it’s still my favorite PS5 exclusive. I beat Rift Apart 3 times.
Got 2 wrong. The shame
My score has shamed me to go back and finally finish Rift Apart. I loved it but got distracted by every other game
Happy with 11 as didn't play many of the original games. Only really got into the series with tools of destruction on PS3. Love the series now
12/15, only got out of universe Q's wrong. Surprised Up Your Arsenal is the highest rated, pound for pound, A Crack in Time is the best game Insomniac has ever made.
6/15 for me, based squarely on zero knowledge about the IP.
@HonestHick a rare game that I immediately wanted to restart and play again, it's just fun personified
Hey, I'll take 12! Love this series, and I still need to play All 4 One, Full Frontal and Into the Nexus 😅
11/15 . my knowledge of R&C is the trilogy and future series & that’s where it ends in my head
@Dimey you’ll love the ps2 games then
@nomither6 can't buy them for my ps5 though, and don't do the subscriptions, so not an option sadly. hopefully a collection comes out soon
12 outta 15. Not bad for someone who's only played 1 and a half of its games (definitely wasn't random lucky guesses)
4/15. Honestly pretty good considering I've never played any of the games.
13/15 for me.
Mixed up Rivets arm and between which games had the longest gap.
Scandalous considering I've been a fan of the franchise since the PS2 original in 2002. 😱😂
Goddamn I did atrocious in this one only 4 correct
It's a shame that the PS2 R&C games haven't been maintained better. There was a HD collection on PS3 that was terrible. I remember there being a forum thread of like 150 bugs specific to the HD port that were noticed by fans. I noticed several myself which is what led me there.
I'd rather play PS2 emulated versions than the PS3 HD collection. Those games pushed the PS2 hardware like nothing else though, so I presume they are some of the most difficult games to emulate correctly.
I replayed PS3 era Tools of Destruction and a Crack in Time via PS+ streaming recently and the streaming experiencing was decidedly...tolerable.
Did pretty well there with 13/15.
12/15. Played everything except for the ps2 games, Qforce and all4one.
10/15. Not bad. Made a stupid mistake on the first question (always read the question properly!).
@Sweetz i have the HD ps3 version & beat them a few months ago. aside from some nuanced cutscene abnormalities like all white eyes on qwarks face , it really wasn’t bad at least from what i remember. i actually enjoyed them more than the future games. they’re 100% playable
Easy. 9/15. Would've done better if I hadn't second-guessed myself on a few of the guesses and if I'd remembered the name of that planet.
I've only played/platinumed the HD trilogy (third one bugged out when I'd almost maxed all the weapons and I had to start a new save), Q-Force, and All 4 One, so I've got a lot left to enjoy. The trilogy getting emulated versions on PS4/PS5 at some point is almost guaranteed.
11 out of 15 for me.word up son
8/15, not bad considering I’ve only played the latest two.
13/15
Some seemed fairly logical, but I'm pleased considering I started the series fairly late, have only played any of the games once, and haven't really played any spin offs.
15/15 as easy, not really many deep cuts (which is fair) but had to wait on a few to think. Our own Ratchet Push Square Jeopardy has appeared. Just not Jeopardy.
1.Makes sense even though the links to prior games are at the bottom of the poll anyway. But PSP sure, Vita is a tough one as technically Full Frontal/QForce is but otherwise Trilogy HD port. But if you were to say 'original' games then yeah nothing but ports.
2.Had to work out yeah 2016/Rift Apart besides Nexus and 2016.
3.Easy answer if know the game/locations.
4.Easy answer if know the characters/in the marketing which appear in it
5.In 3/Up Your Arsenal he is a teacher that bullies him but in 2016 it is yeah I guess the same reason even though I would have also said his experiments were too dangerous but yeah treatment makes sense.
6.When you hear his name enough times besides always hearing his last name the most.
7.Ah the team that split off with their ideas, made others then ended up with Disney Princess game on the Wii, not idea if they just gave up or were dissolved back into Insomniac or made a new studio like those killed off like Liverpool was to then Firesprite. I don't know. They tried. But fair other studio names to put there though.
8.Ah regional names. Spyro's I did like the EU names more. Ratchet I can go either way really I don't mind either. But they still sound pretty cool both ways.
9.Easy answer even for how little i cared of Rift Apart. I did experience enough of the game/seen a full playthrough when I gave up on the game to know what happens/what I missed.
10.Ah the animal conversion weapons. I think the animal burping shotgun one is pretty good and the mods for the Constructo weapons. But yeah not a Map-o-Matic to fire out maps XD, but enough Morph-o-rays, Quack-o-ray/Blitzer and Sheepinators to get us going for animal conversions of enemies.
11.Tricky. I had to work out which arm it was from their way of facing which can trip you for sure. It does me and going wait, this way facing, ah got it.
12.Yep a fair villain.
13.I like the wrong answers they sound cool. Sigh no motion control weapon aiming ever in the series? Why Insomniac. Oh well.
The paint one is another game, and I loved the paint spraying side missions in it, ears one is cool I wish we did get that as a feature in a game.
I think this is a trick question as you do while falling, while using the robo wings, the gyro laser and while doing the decryptor puzzles (among others) so that's a bit miss leading there Push Square staff of those two answers.
By electromagnetic objects I assume you mean like the Zelda Magnet right? Or something else? Not the Decryptor correct? I need clarification there.
I have played TOD a lot and you can turn the motion controls OFF for the decryptor and falling, and the wings, geo laser, gyro cycle as well but the weapon that requires it like the Dynamo in Crack in Time you can't turn it off and there is another in TOD you can't either.
So most but 1 or 2 you can't turn motion off (trying to remember which it is again) as at least to me with my AU/EU copy and I think original copy it wasn't patched (or I didn't have the update from PSN or Platinum updated budget copy, IF they did fix it I don't know).
Even the Ratchet 1 Codebox wasn't patched in the PS3/Vita trilogy versions and is based on the US version, my PS2 AU/EU version also has that bolt bug that gives you a few thousand bolts. It was never patched. XD I literally put it on the Ratchet Fandom wiki because I have experienced it every time all 3 versions (just not the US PS2 version but again it's used for the PS3/Vita versions as a base).

I'm playing a Switch game at the moment with the Decryptor kind of puzzles. The ball and the electrical points type puzzles, called Run The Fan. It's pretty fun as I liked those puzzles in Tools of Destruction. But I enjoyed the Electrolyzer too, Infiltrator/Hacker were ok.
14.All kind of valid there as multiplayer wasn't in a while in the series but yes hand been done before in 3 onwards entries for a time online or split screen local. Randomised weapons. I can't remember, upgrades were strict but randomised upgrades I guess..... maybe for multiplayer modes I can't remember in 3 or Size Matters or something. I know Gladiator/Deadlocked sure you can swap alpha/omega mods but not randomised weapons. But otherwise from the weapon containers they are per how you do and select them not random so hmm.
If only turn based strategy but maybe some day.
15.Yeah my guess was right, I remember hearing it somewhere. I think it's an ok game, I think it's overrated compared to other entries as it cut a lot, was rushed, still landed well of course but was just so much shooting/less of the platforming and sure a few of the minigames/puzzle gadgets but the combat is everywhere of arenas, battlefields and more it's just too much shooting it gets boring regardless of vehicles or not. Not a fan of that entry.
No question related:
Fair questions, some pretty general, others yeah you have to see the menus, others know of characters, not that many deep cuts which is fair but yeah pretty easy for me for sure.
Something in the museums would be deep cuts for sure, or just the museums in general which entry would have been interesting for how few have them and the treehouses.
11/15
Not bad considering I have ALL Ratchet & Clank games on almost every consoles.
I have ALL the PS3 version including the HD Trilogy + Deadlocked PS2, Size Matters PS2, Secret Agent Clank PSP, Ratchet & Clank PS4 and Rift Apart PS5.
Also, I played PlayStation Move Heroes on PS3.
Shouldn't it have been Ratchet and Pawl?
Still in second position baby!
Still rate PS3's Tools of Destruction as being the best one.
Top 20 for the first time ever. Love me some R&C
12/15 surprised by that!
I love R&C!
Just wish J&D and Sly Cooper would have gotten the same love as R&C ...
10/15 Loved all the PS3 and above games.
I don't think 8 is too bad when I've only played the 2016 Remake and Rift Apart.
Feeling a bit mixed on this one: on the one hand, I’m pretty impressed I managed to get 12/15, considering I skipped every entry between Gladiator/Deadlocked and Rift Apart but on the other hand, it could’ve been 13 if I had chosen to read through all of the choices for the first question, rather than seeing Vita and immediately thinking it had to be that one -_-
Oh my god. Only 4 for me. I love R&C. I cant believe i failed so badly.
13, I can't believe I mixed Rivet's arms
@WCamicase I quickly answered that one and just remembered she's right-handed and the metal arm shoots the guns.
This is the first time I've ever gotten in the top 20 on a Pushsquare quiz 😁 Big Ratchet and Clank fan, so pretty happy!
