Below, you'll find 10 general knowledge questions with multiple choice answers. Some are relatively easy, and others are devilishly difficult. Do well enough, and you'll rank on our official leaderboard, which you can view at the end of the quiz!

Yes, the PlayStation General Knowledge quizzes are finally back!
Longtime Push Square readers will know that we stopped doing these quizzes a couple of years ago. They require a surprising amount of work and we just couldn't do them justice on a regular basis.
However, new quizzes have been requested ever since and after deciding that we wanted to run them again, we also wanted to make them better than before.
Thanks to @antdickens' hard work, quizzes now have the following features:

Urgh scoreboard means I can’t lie.
I got 8/10. Only wrong with Capt Price first name and RDR 2 question.
Very proud to get the inFamous one right. One of these caught me offgaurd, the other almost did but didn’t. Good quiz.
Now a certain someone can't lie about his perfect scores anymore. Word up son.

@kyleforrester87 @dschons I went back over loads of previous quizzes and it's actually insane how often @playstation1995 is top of the leaderboards, or close. He's basically a living Push Square legend.

Darn I got 5/10. Few of the questions stumped me.
Love the new leaderboard. I got lucky with guesses on questions 3,8 and 10.
Our leader is a quick reader.
@Yousef- My PS Knowledge is disappearing as I don't play much now, new games can look amazing but don't give the feeling they did 30-40 years ago. I'm scared I've grown up...
@Slippship understandable sentiment. I’d say the right games are still exciting though. Like Alan Wake 2.
7/10 though most were guesses so not sure how well I really did.

@ShogunRok Hmm the Folklore question was an iffy one since both Game Republic and Japan Studio actually worked on it! 😝 GR were the lead devs though granted.
I like the new format. My score was terrible. 5/10, with a couple of half guesses helping me along.

I got 10 out of 10.the call of duty question i had a feeling about hes name.number 9 is easy.because streets of rage 4 and that game is my favorite indie games ever.word up son

And I won't lie, I had no idea about that Metacritic question. I took a wild guess, and I guessed wildly wrong.

I wouldn’t read too much into that. People get interrupted with life, or may need to think hard. Anyone who wants to cheat for whatever reason would just have a dummy run on an alt to get all the answers, then would run through it fast.

@Yousef- one I've left. I know it's great and it can go on my new PC, in a sale, as I've gone and turned to the dark side now. Still have robocop and jedi whatever the new one is as new games on ps5.
@Slippship I legitimately forgot AW2 was on PC because any pc game that’s not on steam pretty much has no existence in my mind (steam deck user)

@Yousef- steam deck user. But I've faffed a bit, not widows but heroic and emudeck. Mostly steam. The reason I built a pc too, that and Elite Dangerous after they nerfed the console.version.
lol, people playing already. I don’t even think I could read the 10 questions fully in 19 seconds let alone answer them all correctly. All a bit of fun of course.

@dschons if you get a question wrong, you can still refresh your browser to reset the quiz. I tested it after seeing people completing the quiz in less than a minute, as the only way those are valid is if you're not reading the questions and just picking the answer you know to be right for that question.
So the 10/10 scores are still dubious.
1.Obvious.
2.No idea didn't play it but guessed right still at random. May be a big game many PS players are into. I wouldn't know I didn't play it. I know someone that did, still didn't know this. Guessed right still, I'd seen other party members and assumed hmm if they are a party member then maybe.
3.Random guess thought was another. I'd seen the studios' wikipedia before but had to think about it.
4.Had to guess, assumed the largest, went 2nd largest. I don't know, I don't care for it, don't remember the news on it.
5.Need to get further through Infamous but yeah still an easy one
6.Guessed, surprised right, what a typical name easy to guess. Never heard their first name, don't remember hearing it in the games at all in any COD game they feature in.
7.Guessed wrong, don't care, wouldn't know any different, not a thing I'm familiar with.
8.What a guess, not surprised it's the lowest metacritic then the others.
9.Thought I'd seen it somewhere before, never played it, fair guess that was correct.
10.Haven't played Parappa in a while on PSP, and not touched on PS4. I remember the later parts but not the first one said by him. Guessed right wow.

@thefourfoldroot1 Yeah, I would! 😂 In fact, when you boot up Folklore, it’s the Japan Studio logo that shows up first, then Game Republic’s. Definitely a trick question!
5/10 and lucky to get that! I do these with my wife, but it doesn't help us

Props to Push Square for this! Really well done. Especially the new interface with the percentages for each answer and leaderboard which included a time element. Wow, really fancy stuff!
