I wouldn't call a purchase of Kadokawa, one of the world's big (if not the biggest) anime/manga/light novels companies, a 'smaller scale'. I get your point otherwise though.

Funny thing is that the Concord episode will be one of the more watched ones (if not, THE most watched) on the show but not for the "right" reasons.

They should honestly just get ChaosX (Project '06 creator) on board. I don't trust Sonic Team to handle a Sonic '06 remake internally all by themselves.

Can't help but feel Sega is getting over their heads with all these non-Sonic gaming movie announcements lately.

That said I’m cautiously more positive towards this news piece, as Shinobi is atleast relatively better known (within the gaming space), compared to Eternal Champions (which is a nobody) and the movie adaptation news for it a few months back.

Would love to be wrong but I'm calling it now; no first-parties, and most (if not all) announcements are just remasters, remakes and Pro updates for existing and upcoming games.😒

Honestly, if true this is just heartbreaking as a PlayStation fan to see how low Sony has fallen.

Even without that in mind its still sad to see Sony having waste so much time and money on this project.
