@RainbowGazelle I'll explain it. About 2 weeks ago Hideaki Nishino Senior VIce President for Sony reported that "There are no technical problems with PS Portal supporting Cloud Streaming. We will start with Remote Play and proceed with verification" meaning later down the line PS portal will become a standalone system supporting PS plus premium. So just like Logitech G cloud is a cloud streaming console. The PS portal will be a cloud streaming console at some point.
@Frigate My ps4 is still going strong day 1 ps4. its on just about everyday either on netflix, amazon, plex, or playing games. No crashing or anything major. I say my other problem is on some games the fan can get loud. But from time to time i take some compressed air to the vents/fan and its all good.
@EVIL-C My Ps now is perfect for me no lag nothing just as if it was a disc. Just because you have fast internet lets say gig up/gig down doesnt mean you have great connection. You have fast internet thats capable of running ps now but you could have a crappy signal coming into your modem. you could be losing data packets every other minute. which could be the reason of your lag. and not the service.
Lets get it right xbox had a great showing for the video game industry, meaning a great show for xbox one/PC and PS4. Xbox didnt show anything that would move consoles off shelves. Halo Gears and forza will not move consoles. They will see well but thats because the people who bought consoles 3 years ago expected them games. I would imagine Sony is over there thanking Microsoft for showing everyone these world premiers world first timed exclusives that will be available on all platforms so Sony wouldnt have to waste time showing. Now Sony can focus on their exclusives/timed exclusives.
