Personally, I found this as near perfection as you can really get. The story was engrossing, the pacing perfect, as were the variation of gameplay, size of the asylum, and the overall visual experience. And, bonding it all together were the Riddler challenges, which provided a well-balanced challenge when traversing from points A-B (which is something I found myself doing a lot). Would agree that the combat wasn't supreme with the bosses, but every other aspect of the game is impervious in my books. Ranks in my top three games of the current generation - all formats.
Both the Batman games are amazing. I am so excited for the prospect of a third. Arkham Asylum was the better of the two, but City wasn't too far off (just sort of petered out near the end and it was too open/sandboxy for my liking). 100% completed both, which is not normally a thing I spend my (limited) game time doing!
Would agree with that review; the game was fun, but the linearity of it was just too much to bear. Was a real shame, because it truly looked spectacular when I first saw the original E3 trailer.
This one lacked that factor that normally keeps me engrossed in the FF games. I completed it and didn't realy explore much after that.
Can't really get much better than Portal 2. Co-op was awesome, although you can only really ever enjoy that with one person (becomes frustrating playing it again with someone who has never done it before; you know all the solutions and invariably end up annoying them by pointing out how they work).

Crikey! This has been on my radar for months now; this has encouraged me to get it, especially as it's cheap as chips on Amazon!
