Re: DOOM, Elder Scrolls, Fallout Devs Strike in Protest of Parent Company, Microsoft

Number09

I worked for Hotpoint and er they had a Union and they could get the whole factory to down tools at anytime rendering the manufacturing of washing machines to come to a complete halt.

The demands was always more pay and the bosses at the factory caved into the demands The Unions had them by the Jaffers....it is not like they could go out and hire another 1000 highly skilled workers.

This practise went on for years until one day the Hotpoint Factory was sick to the back teeth of paying its workers extortionate amounts of wages they closed the Factory leaving grown men having breakdowns on line (we worked on lines) knowing they had mortgages to pay.

Unions or strikes can be a double edged sword...and sometimes you have to be grateful for what you have..because the next day you could have Nothing.

Re: In the UK, You Can't Buy a PS5 Pro Disc Drive without Paying a Premium

I am surprised Sony did not go the whole hog and put online only because that's where we are going oh and you can bet your bottom dollar the monthly subscription to play online will double hell even triple maybe even quadruple who knows what Sony will be capable of they have shown no mercy in the past when it comes to greed from the player.

Re: PS5 Pro Will Reportedly Boost PS4 Games, and Reduce PSVR2 Motion Sickness

@Pranwell @Shwing Its the attitude of people like you that is lowering the standard of gaming your the ones that buy any old tat so companies care less about making a decent console a PS4 with a turnip attached and call it a PS5 I could buy a PS5 or a PS5 With two turnips (we all know they were caught on the hop because of microsoft) it is not like we cannot go out and buy one tomorrow we would rather wait a couple of years for a PS6 and anything we missed out on of the PS5's pathetic offering we can gleefully play on the PS6 in the meantime the PS4 without turnips is more than good enough for me .to the People at Push Square i'm sorry this had to be said.

I have not entered a WH Smiths in a long time (ok I was in one just the other day checking how much a bottle of water was) It was my go to for things important on the Playstation and kids in the beginning they had Game Demo's on a disk my favourite was F1 demo around the Brazil track I had no money in them days I could not afford to just buy games on release so these things were important a far cry from today...i'm waffling think Homer warping into a hedge.

@tameshiyaku I am sorry if you felt I was Hostile I am very much tongue in cheek Getting back to scalpers having read all comments just one person has come up with a genuine idea that suits all ..... djlard says "We live in times where there is videochats, face recognitions, voice recognitions and translators. How about to use them in a good way to preorder one piece per customer based on videochat? They can adhoc search thru previous video preorders if this person haven't already preordered? I think it is not impossible".Have a good day Sir.

Re: Despite Hype, Analyst Says Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth 'Underperforming'

@Strikke Championshp Manager was not owned by Microsoft but I still had to update my graphics card and Monitor to play the newly updated version...my point is everytime the industry think they have a Golden egg they capitalize on it everyone knows the 2nd installment of FF7 "The Rebirth" could have come to the PS4 ..so far all the PS5 can offer is quicker loading times (PS5 Pro offering better grafix) its greed plain and simple not for the players...while i'm at it how come switch gets Football manager but PS4 don't?..... Paul and Oliver Collyer started Championship Manager in 1992 just so we the players could have a proper football manager sim....9 years after the video games crash of 1983.....i'm of to buy it on the microsoft platform oh wait Square Enix own it ..I don't understand are they bondaged to Sony?

Re: Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Is So Long, It's Being Called 'Monster-Class'

The last one was pure joy...feel sorry for Playstation 5 owners these Playstation 4 games keep getting pumped out..guess it makes sense financially...anyhows the way things are going it will be another 2 years before we have any proper next gen exclusives by then the Paystation 6 rumour mill will have reared its ugly head so glad I did not buy the PlayStation 5 by all accounts its been a laughing stock..back to my Quiet non condescending PS4.

Re: Sony Has Stopped Updating PS Plus' Subscriber Numbers

Re: Media Molecule Confirms Report of Layoffs, Has Begun Consultation Process

Number09

Would be nice to import .jpegs would be nice to export files if only to PC would be a start ..i'm fast running out of room and I don't wanna save in their cloud ..when it 1st started you had to move your controller to do stuff....we were told to buy move sticks (A move probably by Sony) to make things easier ...the mob didn't buy it....so they changed the whole control system to your analogue sticks which made the whole thing a lot more easier and not a task.

You can't save your Time trails or High scores unless your online (Another Sony request no doubt)

And the final nail in the coffin for me (somebody who actually supported Dreams way back in the beginning) is they messed up local saves.

Media Molecule is a classic example of A company being controlled by another company with ulterior motives ...they have only JUST put back audio importer without having to be online.

Ok I am yet to play the remake..I play the original a lot..but from what I see is the generations that were not about when this game 1st landed I feel through watching the video they are going to get the same feeling I had when I played the Original ..hopefully pure joy..The Remake guys have done an excellent job and I can now appreciate why it took them so long..This Game got me into gaming.

Re: PS5 Slim Doesn't Come with a Vertical Stand, Needs to Be Bought Separately

Number09

I can honestly say I have had every Sony Playstation console yes even PS3 who incidentally has been played a lot lately.....but this PS5 nah its not doing it for me I am not sure if it's the fact I know the PS6 will be out in as little as 5 years if not sooner and the latest slim has lessened my interest further I am more than happy with my PS4 yes I miss out on the Final Fantasy game and a couple more...but no doubt they will be backward compatible with the PS6...no I am not an X Box fan boy Sony is my choice for gaming just not the PS5..and now they got detachable disk drives say what!!!

When Codies got the official license from under the nose of French Developers Kylotonn who had the License since 2015 who arguably made a decent game especially the last 4....I was excited ..but then Electronic Arts bought them..now I am just not surprised anymore about the Business of the Games industry...imma go create summit in Dreams ooh I could crush a grape.
