The game has tanked. 10 year dev cycle, hundreds of millions spent and certainly less than a million sold, with no DLC plans you know EA have zero faith. Mass Effect 5 had better sell GTA numbers to keep Bioware alive, assuming EA don't shutter them in Q2 2025.

Pure speculation on my part but I wonder if Neon Koi were working on a mobile version of Concord. Sony, or Hulst at least seemed to think the game was the second coming of the Lord so it wouldn't be a shock if there was a mobile port in the works.

Good grief, that reflected image on the right with RT on is absolutely abysmal. Watch Dogs Legion has better looking glass reflection RT on a Series S.

Muddy visuals? The image quality is superb even in performance mode. I guess a clean 1800p image is mud nowadays. You guys really need to stop. There isn't a single detail of what the enhancements even are ffs.

Amazing weather simulator and a stunning looker but a sub par driving game. It had no idea what it wanted to be. It tried to be simcade but didn't manage to do sim or arcade very well. The physics and vehicle handling were awful.

And fwiw I have the platinum, I spent a lot of time with DC, not hating for the sake of it.

Can't fault the presentation but as far as arcade racers go, PGR 2 and 4 did it far better many years earlier.

@PuppetMaster - That would be a question for Konami. I'm just saying that source code isn't needed to remake a game for which retail code exists.

@PuppetMaster - Source code isn't needed. BluePoint never used source for their remastered collections of Ico/SotC, MGS etc. They reverse engineered the final code.

Look at that roster. Asian woman, black woman, black non-binary, undecided robot, Hispanic manlet etc. This game was a DEI white excluding circle jerk and never inclusive. @Rols is spot on.

@Enigk - Not happening. It would cost another fortune to retool this with a F2P model and Sony really don't need the embarrassment of it tanking all over again which it would. It's a write off.

@Waluigi451 - There's zero chance Sony will try to reinvent this game. They can't risk it tanking twice. Luckily for them with it being mainly digital they won't need to buy a landfill plot. Hermen Hulst can just bury the surplus hard copies in his garden.

@Bez87 - Mobile gaming has been hitting consoles since the PS3. Did you forget about Peggle, Angry Birds, Plants vs Zombies etc?

@3Above - Its not overly difficult maybe 5 or 6/10 but it can be quite frustrating at times as Lily can die very easily and most major bosses can shred her health and kill her with one or two hits. It gets easier once you get the dodge upgrade as you can abuse i-frames. Plat took me about 30 hours, fully blind playthrough.

@z0d15g0d - Honestly mate I recommend both, they're the DoT meta together for a reason and your Jiaoqiu and HHuo will make that team.

They're still solid apart, Kafka will raise a well invested E4+ Sampo, Guinaifen etc and Swan is a fantastic stack builder for Acheron and slots well with all DoT units etc but if you're going to lean into DoT then you pair them up.

Still waiting for that decent company to do right by my man Blade. Long wait...

@BIG3 - The combat system is decent and the weapons are really inventive but everything else is pretty bad.

Combat and animation wise it's a solid 8. Really enjoyable when fighting but the overworld is as dull as dishwater. That entire TV thing is abysmal, awful pacing and that music in there is ear cancer. 6/10 overall.

Really like the combat and the animation both in combat and cutscenes is absolutely top tier but everything else is kinda meh. Definitely the weakest of the 3 games Hoyo have released on console imho. GI and HSR both seem like actual AAA console games that happen to have mobile ports, ZZZ seems like a AA mobile game that got a PS5 port.

@Anke - The platinum requires a few end game trophies which will need two teams of max rank, fully geared up characters. It'll take a while for even P2W whales to get there.

@OldGamer999 - This is from Ubisoft Massive, a dev team who manage to break a 5 year old game with alarming regularity in the Division 2. Stable and bug free are foreign concepts to them.

@Throb - I haven't played DD2 but in the original you could tune your own pawn to barely speak at all. Mine was near mute. Did they remove that in 2?

To keep the chatter to a minimum I never hired them and the few times the game forced me to use other pawns I threw them off a cliff.

@z0d15g0d - Hah, I've no idea mate. I think my ridiculously good luck ship has sailed. Lost a few 50/50 recently and been pushed into the 80's for my last 2 5* wins. I had a good run!

AC Mirage. Only a few hours in but liking it so far. Parkour feels really good, nice blend of the old and new. Feels much better than the full on auto pathing in the RPG games. Have a good weekend all!

@z0d15g0d - I'll be on this too, pretty much given up with Genshin due to a complete lack of challenge. Combat in ZZZ looks like it might actually require a bit of thought. Looking forward to it.

@ATaco - Everything you actually need relic wise is hard to get naturally with this game and its piss taking RNG. It took me 6 months to get a functional Quantum set for Seele. Not a great set, just functional.

I'm real wary of using remodel resin too but if I absolutely need a certain main stat on a piece then I'll craft it when all else has failed.

@ATaco - Why not craft a ER rope and some speed boots? The sub stats are still RNG bound but at least you can guarantee the main stat you want.

All this ever needed was a PS5 performance patch, it runs like ass on PS4/Pro. Instead creatively bankrupt Sony pump out yet another pointless remaster.

Lost me at multiplayer. Really wish these guys would make a third Joe Danger. They were brilliant games.

@Ralizah - "Genshin felt fairly premium." So it should with a development cost of $700+ million and rising (inc advertising).

Certainly not the cheapest mobile quality slot machine that @Frmknst seems to think it is.

@somnambulance - It's evergreen status is absolutely due to heavily discounted physical shark card bundles. I have 2 people on my friends list who play GTAO religiously and they both buy dozens of cheap bundle copies per year. Their GTAO playing friends all do the same.

@S1ayeR74 - They're 2 different SKU's on PS. The PS4 version will never update to the PS5 version.

Wonder if they'll bring back the Black Armory Forges? Spent a ridiculous amount of time in there grinding for god rolls. I've still got some insanely good rolls on Kindled Orchid, Blast Furnace, Ringing Nail etc that I held on to. Good to know I can use them again if I ever go back to D2.

More backlog for me. Started my first ever playthrough of Red Dead Redemption 2 midweek so it'll be more of that. Think I'm nearing the end of the second chapter, really should be further in but I've been wandering about a lot just doing random stuff and enjoying the world.

@LifeGirl - It was already a PS4 a game on PS5, being salty about a free update to make it PS5 native is bizarre. What on earth is your beef with that?

Nah, zero interest. I've clocked several 1000's of hours across both games, bought every DLC and I'm done. I'll play Final Shape when it inevitably rocks up on PS+ and then my Destiny journey is over forever.

I decided not to renew my PS+ sub for the first time since the service began so I can work on my disgusting amount of bought, unplayed games. So I'm kicking it off with Torchlight 2 which I've had since it launched about a decade ago!
