I am actaully welcoming this. I disabled messsage notification on ps3 and with that i also unfortunatly don't see game invites. I hope everyone can get themselves the ps messages app. I love my ps3, but even I have to admit the message system hasn't aged well, let alone integrates itself well with the app, ps4 and vita.
@JohnnyShoulder No need to buy any additional character. The game has well enough characters without the DLC. Unless a certain character really interests you or you want to learn character match ups to up your skill, don´t buy any. I only bought season 2 at full price and i almost regreted it as I only played Julia (and that months later). @Everyone else, dont let the DLC detract you from getting this game. Its OPTIONAL. Very solid game and more accessible than ever before, whiles retaining the dept you would expect on higher level of play.
I can see where Liam is coming from. All the games that came out within a short time frame can be daunting to a newcomer to the series. Personally i think 6 did a great job on closing the Kazuma Kiryu storyline. However in terms of the "Yakuza" side of the story , its lacking compared to its other games. The story of "Family" on the other hand is very deep and heartfelt. I still feel that Liam should have played the other games, especially 3 to get better connected to the sunshine orphanage and 5 to understand what changes in Harukas Life and why Kiryu decides what he does at the beginning of 6. The story summaries are good, but playing through them is does the journey justice.
