@Ken_Kaniff Do you really think a $3.6B acquisition just comes together in a week? This deal was in the works well before Microsoft announced they were purchasing Activision.
@pip_muzz Well, you are being "that guy" and essentially complaining about nothing. The information is already out there, so reporting on it won't change what has already happened. And really, your conscience is soooo bothered by the big multinational company having information leaked that in the long run probably won't amount to anything?
@pip_muzz Again, you may think it's not ok, but once the information is out, it is perfectly legal for anyone to report on it, even if the original owner of the information doesn't want it to be reported on. It's not a "scummy" thing to do, as it's the way we know about lots of government abuses based on leaked/stolen information. Don't conflate your opinion with the actual facts and the law.
@pip_muzz No, this is wrong. Reporting on leaked information, even if it was stolen, doesn't make reporters "complicit" in the theft. This is an established legal principle in the U.S. A reporter is only complicit in the theft of information if they induced someone to steal it for them.

Elon Musk is in no way a "real life Tony Stark." Stop saying that and contributing to his mythology and cult of personality.
