@MrPeanutbutterz the practice of drip feeding characters is a scummy way to pad out a games longevity by half-finishing it just to charge players for it later . so you pay full price initially just to eventually accumulate an equivalent with buying DLC.

you could argue they basically did the same thing with SF4, but the jump from SF4 to SSF4 was big and the roster was greatly expanded & it only costed $40 -isn’t that the price of only 2 sf6 characters? LOL . SF6 roster is still lacking a year and a half later with its roster; i rather SSF6.

PC is also big in japan, it’s not just nintendo. Console just doesn’t have incentives to justify its price these days. The amount of Playstation/Xbox games on PC nowadays is pretty wild, and they all have their native controller support, so it’s like your PC is your PS5/Xbox & you’re connected to their services when you sign in to your psn or xbl account

at that point , forget 8k and just up the frames to 120fps because imma be honest - even 60fps isn’t as satisfying or enough anymore . 120+ is actually the new 60 & has been for a while now

@ColdHandGee nah i’m not getting the pro, there’s no reason for me to when i have a PC also. And im with you about the anniversary design, it’s a shame it took after the slim model , that caught me off guard too because i thought it would be the fat model; but it makes sense for it to be a slim “progress wise” i guess .

@ColdHandGee on the bright side we’ll eventually have a rare model now. the OG ps5 will be hard to find, and we can feel special for having it , haha .

plus, i personally love the OG/fat model consoles the fat ps1, fat ps2, fat ps3, fat psp are all some nice & pretty big boys

@__jamiie i was one of them, lol, and as a little kid with small hands too. but i did say "arguably" , & the n64 was a generation before my time so i honestly wouldnt know any better about the innovations it also brought to gaming as a standard.

@LuXifer there is no psn servers needed for online, PSN is just a storefront. when you play online , you connect to the game developers servers. PS plus is literally just a long running scam that’s capitalizing off of peoples complacency with paying to use their own internet

All you need to play online is internet & the games server
