@Ilyn I’m in the minority with QTEs. I love QTEs & am glad Sony kept them in games like Spiderman. I also have the games natively on ps3; id never stream games, i prefer playing them on their hardware, especially without the gratuitous touchpad and gimmicks of new ps controllers, or kind of blurry resolution.

@PegasusActual93 two extremes here. how about just making a game that doesn’t look like a boring cartoon (marathon) or drab & depressing? Can we get some balance? My point was bright colors in a game doesn’t automatically make it fun

@S1ayeR74 nothing “big” on the level of mario kart, but i’m not defending $ony. I just don’t understand the glazing for Nintendo, when they bailed out of the home console market because of their failures and are now overcharging for their latest handheld console that’s worse than a steamdeck and a generation or two behind. the most anti-consumer company before $ony started following suit and yet they are never criticized. help me understand why nintendo gets a pass so much

@Vectrex yeah, if they ever make another tomb raider it’s gonna be with new lara and not the classic one from the originals.

this game is already dying rapidly on pc. the ui is crap, the graphics are obtrusive & the gameplay is just a valorant wanna be (another game that has way less popularity on console).

@GADG3Tx87 oh, i’m sorry for my misunderstanding and attitude then. i do believe that it “technically” could end; money talks - if people stop subscribing en masse then it could happen, but that isn’t pragmatic so, yeah, we’re screwed. i’m fortunate enough like you to still hang in there & have a backlog of retros as well. in fact, the majority of this generation for me has been spent on 7th generation hidden gems i missed out on & PC. My PS5 is the least played console i’ve ever had.

@Anke because black flag took the best of AC2 & 3 and perfected it (for the most part) The story and setting was enough to keep me interested, i loved the islands and traversing.

@PuppetMaster i was talking about the ps2 ratchets, they really dumbed down the series as time went on. i highly recommend that you play the og trilogy those games are the best in the serie, but anyway my point is , i’m of the idea that platformers always provided a challenge. astros playroom was pretty good too

even mario games are difficult- i’m probably in the minority but i swear i could never beat a single mario game & as a kid nearly cried because i couldn’t beat mario 3 , i even cracked my gameboy color. i’m in the process of trying to beat mario 64 on my switch and it’s rough.

I’m fine with MW2; MW3 was mediocre as hell. Better than any modern COD, sure, but compared to the other CODs of 7th gen aka the golden era of COD, it was one of the weakest

@MidnightDragonDX wii u was just unknown, it wasn’t actively bashed like the xbox one, ps3, ps5, series x/s etc. you still had gamers within the hardcore gaming space caping for the wii u

@MidnightDragonDX nah, nintendo is the invincible golden child of the industry, almost every single thing they do they get a pass for. they can sell people short and be as anti-consumerism as they want, and a generation or two behind & they’re still reprieved from any scrutiny sony or ms would get
