the ps4 still being supported is getting ridiculous

@HonestHick I think it's awesome. I bought the most future-proof pre-built that they had available, & im 2 years in so far with no problems; every game runs great on it (as they should haha), & the only thing that i've had to do so far was add more RAM that was fairly simple to do. I only play games on PC with a controller which is another big plus, because i have the option of all controllers of all brands that i can use to play games. the gaming experience is un-matched because of how much you can cater to your own custom gaming needs and use virtually any device/accessories with it.

I really think its worth it, especially now more than ever since PC is no longer difficult to get into or gatekept with keyboard and mouse only, its really accessible now and im so grateful for that. As i said earlier, ill always have consoles around and wont get rid of them just because i have a PC, because the option of choosing to play on what you want, when you want is a good feeling.

Not to mention PC is essentially just a glorified computer, so you can also use it for necessity/productive purposes, as i do with mine for work.

also i cant believe i forgot to mention the largest elephant in the room - FREE ONLINE and very cheap game deals, and emulation.

@Cry_Zero It’s 2024 , can’t have (full and complete) games that have offline campaigns and online multiplayer anymore. i remember when it was a thing though , good times.

@HonestHick that feels like its so true about the momentum all going to PC; im born and raised on console/controller and will always own them and play with controller on any platform, but ive been playing on PC almost exclusively for a long while now because the incentive of playing on console these days is just so miniscule

i cant believe this game is rare, i remember easily downloading it on my ps4 because there was nothing to play on it yet ,lol. it was advertised pretty good from what i remember. i have the matrix awakens demo or whatever on my ps5 and apparently thats rare now too. but yea this game was scary as hell, when i saw the creepy ghost lady over the balcony i called it quits.

@PuppetMaster pushsquare said the game was cancelled. i just don’t understand why a tv show would be successful and the game wouldn’t be, the series still has plenty of untapped potential & destruction all stars is a genuinely terrible game, and not what any TM fan wanted . the ps3 game had zero advertising , as i didn’t even know myself that the game existed until i saw it on ps now during the ps4 days, couple the fact that it was rushed and had some questionable decisions , i don’t think it’s a fair assessment

it’s just weird to me how it’s ok for the ps5 to be $500 despite the launch OG ps3 being the same price and offering way more for its time, but was criticized. the ps5 is not worth $500 by 2020 standards, and the library is weak . Not to mention it has almost no features.

@TheArt couldn’t agree more. i actually saw the writing on the wall when i first got into PC a couple of years ago myself . With them announcing “pro versions” of consoles and all, it really is just a PC-esque environment now.

@NEStalgia im of the unpopular opinion gang myself & definitely prefer the original god of wars too. they felt more like video games, and i prefer the more nonstop action-packed presentation, more brutality & the intense hack n slash gameplay with QTEs(not to mention the better camera of the originals and platforming).The reboots just watered a lot of things down about the franchise, and i prefer old- uh, excuse me, “young” kratos (ugh) over his changes in the reboot

@Specky dude , i played God of war 3 on it a few months ago and it still blew me away. it’s so good that it could replace its own remaster 😂 the ps3 is a freaking powerhouse, & its CPU is no joke! i doubt the 360 could even run it without some texture downgrades, frame drops and RROD.

@trev666 facts, the ps3 is the goat playstation that’s underrated, and under appreciated. the world wasn’t ready for it, but now it’s ok to drop $500 on a console that’s not even worth the price; funny how things change.

on topic though , i already bought everything i needed off the 360 store in its final days . the ps3 is the goat playstation and Xbox360 is the goat console , seventh gen was really good.

@Kanji-Tatsumi i agree, its just that this game in particular did it wrong. games like gears of war 1/2, GTA4, prototype (2009), the original assasins creed 2, spiderman web of shadows, saints row 2, MGS4, Need for speed most wanted (2005), the original arkham games, Infamous 1/2 etc are all games that did it right.

but again, im with you about this post-fortnite overly vibrant and cartoon colorful crap its plaguing every game now like the new dragon age. i miss the gritty/grungy era alot.
