@Llamageddon none of that excuses modern consoles still unable to hit 60fps for all games now. 60fps is bare minimum in 2025, that is not asking for much, we’re in 9th generation - is 60fps really asking for much?

@dskatter it’s really not. the ps3 was CLEARLY, OBVIOUSLY, & BLATANTLY a generational leap, there’s no question about it. My analogy made perfect sense - it describes diminishing returns and less generational leaps. it didn’t start with the ps3, it started with the ps4 - a console that was dated with old tech on release.

never mind the pro, it’s a joke that it can’t even run 60fps on ps5 . the ps5 is just a ps4 pro, while the ps4 pro is what the ps4 should have been. smh

@KingPev dubious is lazy & gave up, he immediately got up as soon as the ref was finished counting and walked off like nothing happened. he was lazy & slow the entire fight and was tired by the end of the second round. dubious threw the fight; usyk just countered 🥱

gonna watch my man Dubois knock out Usyk , but as i’m waiting through these prelims i’m just on my switch playing some mario 64, and the controls are complete ass! i paid the highest switch tier sub out of desperation to try this game months ago and i’m still at the beginning pretty much

i want a new infamous game , i’m so tired of remasters , especially since i still have my ps3 and never had an issue with the original versions . if modern consoles were simply BC and had patches released to run old games at higher fps and resolution it wouldn’t be a need for this

i blame the ps4 era

@PuppetMaster but he did create twisted metal though and is responsible for the best or better games in the series. that’s only why i mentioned him.

i was always more of a blazblue guy. i hope the new marvel plays more like blazblue than rusty gear, but i doubt it

more games for gamers so i’m down with it , but i think this will ultimately do more damage than good in the long run unfortunately

pc pretty much fulfilled all the desirable features i’ve wanted with the ps5 that they’ve slowly been stripping away from since after the ps3. ps4 had some great features too but then updates happened

at this point i want nothing from ps5 but games from $ony

THIS is a true ARCADE racing game, not forza horizon & im so nostalgic for it. i don’t have the game anymore since i had it on Xbox one and theres no cross-progression or crossplay. compared to the recent trash nfs been dropping (except heat) rivals was a banger

@Deljo i agree. it’s too late for us that have a PC 😆 i do miss when “the big 3” was actually a thing. as a gamer i actually loved having all game consoles and a reason to play them!

@SMJ @Cry_Zero , facts! GTA4 had the best story & protagonist in the series! I also like how it resembles the PS2 gta games with its aesthetics, while V pretty much stripped that moody atmosphere away

i played it again on PC back in october and the game still holds up

ehh…nah👎 3 out of 5. if anything these designs just really makes me want some vanilla cookies & cream, ice cream .

@SMJ technically, saving data is free, it’s originally stored on your console & tied to your account; you don’t have to pay to save your in-game progress. it’s when you want to “back-up” your saves to P$N servers, that you’d have to pay.

As far as transferring saves - i completely agree. you used to be able to transfer your saves to virtually any storage during the ps360 days. i have no idea why $ony became so controlling over peoples saves other than to prevent some sort of hacking or modding, i guess.

@SMJ yeah, that too. completely forgot about cloud saves, but i’ve been affected by that as well! To be fair though (& im gonna play devils advocate here just a little bit) - i believe cloud storing services like google drive, one drive, etc, are free to an extent; but once your storage fills, you’d have to upgrade/buy more storage. It would be nice if $ony would allow us to have free storage to an extent

@SMJ at the least it shouldn’t be gatekeeping online. if it didn’t force people into wasting their money for online play then the service would be better because the mediocrity it offers would be optional & therefore anyone who goes out of their way to subscribe obviously doesn’t see it as mediocre to them, so it’s a win-win(like the ps3 days). a win for consumers, that is; $ony doesn’t like that.

i’d love to use my ps5 for online sometimes instead of pc all the time, but im always reminded with a slap in the face of a paywall

@BAMozzy Have you ever took a look at steam charts by any chances? I’d argue that PC is the most populated and biggest supporter of HD2, its had a healthy player count since release often fluctuating between 30-100k and is always in the top 10 or 15. I believe all the cards are in HD2s favor. it’s a great game for xbox.

@HonestHick The difference would be $ony investing in reviving their dead IPs and focusing on what they’re best at. i think the only mistake $onys possibly made is porting their single player games to Xbox/PC, but live service games should be everywhere. now if it’s a game that has single player and multiplayer like the good old days (TLOU) , i think that should be exclusive as well. pure live service games shouldn’t.

I’m not bothered at all, it’s a live service game, not a single player. you say you can make the same argument for single player games sony released on pc - no you can’t, those games can’t be played with other people & are one and done purchases and experiences; live service brings consistent and or constant revenue that can be used to fund sonys other projects WHICH I DO BELIEVE SHOULD BE SINGLE PLAYER EXCLUSIVES and not on other platforms, we need reasons to boot up our console over the amazing pc.

but LIVE SERVICE? nah , yall are tripping . More players is better for both parties, consumers and companies alike.

@BAMozzy since gears of war is one of the most anticipated games on playstation i have no doubt HD2 will do good on xbox - especially since it has much longer longevity than gears 1
