@PuppetMaster Thanks for the info. As other readers, i am surpreised. Always thought the series to be more popular, not as resident evil series, but not this low. This shows that i need to support the series more. Got buy Silent Hill F.
Agreed. I also drastically reduced the number of games bought because of the big ps plus catalog, but not only because of that. Big games that i would have bought, entered the service very early, like forbidden west, and now I'm conditioned to wait for them to appear in the service. All of this likely has an affect on other first party and third-party games sales and may be also contributing to these layoffs in the industry.
Not only tomb Raider, but Deus Ex, a great RPG franchise from a western developer, something that Sony lacks even more now that Bethesda RPG are exclusive to MS.
I don't think this is the case, since the best seller games in the platform are multiplayer and sony is very concerned with the prospect of losing one of them to microsoft, hence the move.
But you have hundreds of games in the service and also have to pay for opperational costs of the servive, marketing and invest in game and hardware development, among others. What are your other sources of revenue to pay for this? I assume hardware sales and game sales, but the last one you decreased by puting the games in the service in the first place, and you have to hope for more hardware or subscription sales to counter it.
I have the same hypothesis because this is happening to me. I signed extra when it launched and, since then, i bought only one game ( tlou remake). Before that, i was buying more than 10 games a year and was signed to plus. Now, with half of my wish list in the service and other games that were not in the wishlist but i tried in the service and liked, Sony sure is not gaining the same money as before with me. I speculate that the plus price increase could be related to this.
Push square could do a survey about this.

Man, what nice memories this single line brings back. No game come close to the immersion i had while playing this game in 2016.

What!? The actress is bald in real life too? Unacceptable. Druckman has gone too far this time.
